A pair of strong arms wrapped around my waist and yanked me off of the bench.

I was forced from my cell to join the single- file line in front of me. The corridor was a tight space, the lights flicking on and off.

My footsteps echoed Damon's, who was walking in front of me. To keep myself steady, I focused my eyes on Damon's back. Even he, seemed worried about what was happening.
I craned my neck to look at the people in front of us.
They too seemed vaguely aware of the situation.

When we reached the elavators, we were split up into groups. I was pulled away from the rest of the line, entering the elavator closest to me.

Four soldiers stood their gaurds in there with us four children.
I dared to look out at the elavator opposite us, staring nervously at Damon. My eyes widened at Damon when a gun was pressed between my shoulder blades, but never made a sound. The elavator doors closed. A few seconds later, after forcing enough courage into my system, I looked around at the other three people. Each of them had guns pointed at them as well.

The elavator played no soothing music, nor would it ever help calm me.
After a loud beep, the metal doors opened again at level 4.

What was in level 4 ?

I let my mind run wild with my imagination, horrified of my assumptions.

The beeping of the elevator doors singnalled their opening. I moved vigilantly at a slow and innocent pace, still aware of the gun pressed against my back.

The other elavators opened a few moments later. The guns were moved from our backs and we were shuffled together in a bunch, the soldiers marching at the back of the group.

I hung my head low, trying not to stand out. We marched through another long corridor that had a little more light . The smell of Patatoes and vegetables tingled my senses.
All at once, the people rounded a corner into a large open room. It was still glum, like the rest of the building but the food in here made it more comfortable. Neat rows of wooden tables and chairs filled the entire space. I, along with countless others, stopped and gasped in relief and shock.
Long counters filled with trays containing food covered the left side of the room.
What appeared to be voluntary cooks stood behind the counters, preparing the foods.

Blocking our view, a tall, muscular soldier strode proudly to the front of the line. The man appeared to be in his early twenties. He had a smirk playing mockingly on his face. His jet-black, short hair gleamed in the light. He had a thick, leather uniform on, and a shot gun hanging in a holster at his hip. He had peircingly sapphire blue eyes, that were almost impossible to avoid. He would have been undeniably gorgeous, if it weren't for that cocky smile.

"My name is Caden. I am a Co- Captain of this procedure. I am also the head leader of the War Squad. The other Captain is Sir Jocodi, the scientist managing this unit. I am in charge of all you from this point and onwards. Do you understand?"
Silent nods of heads showed that we in fact did understand.
"Good. Now, I have a few rules that I need to cover."
I looked over my shoulder to see people shift uneasily on their feet at this.
"Alright, first off, there will be No use of your abilities- unless instructed to in your training. There will be no attempts to escape this building or any of your cells. To go beyond the boundaries of certain parts of this building is forbidden. There will be no reluctance to any of the tests you experience.
Any of these rules found to be broken, will lead to serious punishments to possible death penalties. "
I heard eveyone hold their next breath in their lungs.
"Okay then, while dinner is being prepared, collect your uniforms. You will be shown the way to the bathroom. When your changed, come straight back here."
He clapped his palms together and gestured towards the soldiers, who began to advance on us.

As a big group, we marched together following the ones leading. I noticed Caden marching proudly at the front. Soon enough we reached another room. It didn't look any different then our cells, only wider.
Caden took his place at the front again, prowling about like a powerful lion.
"Boys," He gestured towards the left, "Girls," The right.
He noticed the questions practically towering over us. "If you should ever need to come to the facilities or the food room, you will be taken from your cells and escorted-" He searched for the right word, "protectively."

A vision of the long metal barrel pressing into my back flooded into my mind. I cringed with the fear of having to do that again.

"Just remember, these are prevlidges. You are prisoners here."

As if we needed reminding.
