When I first open my eyes I see the two most important boys in my life. My son Cody and my boyfriend Luke. Luke doesn't know I'm awake yet so that means I get to take a long look at him smiling down at our boy with such happiness. He must have felt me staring at him because he noticed that I'm awake.

"Good morning beautiful how are you feeling ?" He asks me sweetly.

"I'm actually okay." I say and smile.

"Can I hold Cody ?" I ask

"Of course." Luke says and hands him over to me.

I look down at my baby and he is perfect. He has Luke's blue eyes and my nose. He is chubby and has little roles of fat on him which I think is so adorable. As I was gazing at him my doctor walks into the room.

"Hello Mrs. Irwin how are you feeling today ?" Dr. Payne asks me

"I'm actually feeling pretty good. When can I leave ?" I ask

"You and your baby are both very healthy so you can leave whenever you feel ready." He says and exits the room

"Luke I'm ready to leave so can you hold Cody for me while I get dressed?"

"Yeah it will be my pleasure." He says with a seductive smirk

Luke's POV
As I watch Danny get ready to leave the hospital I realize how lucky I am to have her and my new baby boy in my life. Without them I would be nothing and I would be an empty person. I am in love with danny and I can't wait until I finally work up the courage to ask her to marry me. Im gonna wait a little while longer because she just gave birth literally less than 24 hours ago. As we leave the hospital I am carrying Cody in his blanket and the diaper bag while danny had to get wheeled out in a wheel chair by a nurse since she can barely walk. I have some things that I'm still hiding from her but they happened in the past but I know her reaction isn't gonna be good. I just hope it won't make me lose her.
