The Life and Lies of Amelia Weasley

Chapter 1

Being in a family of eight is far from normal and has its many advantages and disadvantages. This is my life as 4 of 8 children our parents had. I am the oldest girl in the family and had been for 5 years before my parents had my little sister Ginny. When I was 13, my oldest brother Bill and his ex-girlfriend had twins together, my nephew, Grayson and my niece Francesca. However his girlfriend decided she couldn't look after her children so she left meaning we've all had to help Bill with Grayson and Francesca, but I wouldn't change it for the world.

Chapter 1

TWO DAYS BEFORE GINNY'S BIRTHDAY

"get up Melie we need to sort Ginny's present out it's her birthday in two days" George said

Ron chucks a glass of ice water over me

"YOU FUCKING ARSEHOLES" I shouted

"erm" Ron said

"fuck" George said

"if you both felt whatever you need to tell me is so important you woke me up in the harshest way possible I think you should tell me" I said

"we need to know what we are going to do for Gin's birthday" Ron said

"could this not have waited till I had woken up in my own time" I said

"it could have but can't we be the annoying little brothers that you need" George said

"very true I do enjoy when you annoy me it makes up for the fact that you never did when we were younger" I said

"right so what are we doing for Ginny" Ron said

"if I had to choose I'd say nothing but we kinda have to so maybe a broom servicing kit refill" I replied while laughing

"yeah we might as well" George said

"we'll leave you to get dressed then come up to my room and we'll go and find Percy" Ron said

"okay I'll be up in a minute" I said

I grabbed my watch of the charger put it on my wrist walked over to my wardrobe threw on a pair of athletic shorts, sport bra and a t-shirt with black trainers, I walked into my bathroom sorted myself out and finally put my hair in a slick back bun. I walked back over to my charger grabbed my phone shoved it in my pocket and walked up to Ron's room.

"ready to go" I asked

"yeah" George said

"right then let's go and find Percy" I said

We decided to check the most obvious places he'd be first like his room or the kitchen but to our surprise he wasn't there he was out in the back yard under a tree reading a book. Ron and George made the decision to have me ask for some reason so I walked over to Percy and sat down next to him

"what are you reading" I asked

"an arithmancy book" he replied

"can I ask you something" I said

"sure what is it" he replied

"would you take the three of us to Diagon Alley please" I asked

"what for" he said

"Ginny's birthday gift" I said

"oh shit when is that" Percy said finally looking up from his book

"two days away" I said

"shit yeah I can, could I be in on this gift too" he asked

"yeah sure" I said

"apparition or car" he asked
