Chapter two

[TIME SKIP]

Wednesday 1st September 2021

Grayson woke me up again this morning. He had been waking me up for the past week for some reason. With today being the first day of school I didn't mind him waking me up so much but I still hated it. I threw on Mattheo's hoodie over my pyjamas again before walking downstairs.

"why are you in Mattheo's hoodie again" George asked

"well because it is comfortable" I said "and why does it matter to you"

"it doesn't" George replied

"so why are you bringing it up" I said

"because its not the first time you've worn it" Percy said

"well maybe because I'm seeing Mattheo for the first time in a while and I've missed him" I said

"you have a crush don't you" Ron said

"maybe" I said "is it that obvious"

"yeah" he replied

"great thanks Ron" I said

"you're welcome Melie" he said

So after that interaction we settled down and began to eat breakfast, mam had made pancakes, waffles, sausages and bacon. Once we had eaten we went and grabbed our trunks ready to go back to school. This will be the second year that Bill, Charlie had taught and the first that Percy and Oliver have taught at the school. Bill teaches Latin, this got added after McGonagall became head mistress. Charlie teaches Care of Magical Creatures, Percy teaches Arithmancy and Oliver teaches flying. As soon as we were ready to leave the house 2 ministry cars pulled up for us. The 3rd car was going to be the family Ford Anglia.

Car 1- Ron, Grayson, George and I

Car 2- Percy, Oliver, Ginny and Bill

Car 3- Mam, Dad, Fred, Francesca and Charlie

Once all of our luggage was in the cars we began the drive to Kings Cross. Its only about an hour away so we aren't in the car too long. Ron was in the middle seat in between Gray's car seat and George then I

was in the passenger seat.

Once we arrived at the station we all got out of the cars and grabbed trollies to put our luggage on. We all agreed to meet our friends on the train as there is already a lot of us and we didn't want to cause too much fuss with the muggles. So we all walked towards the barrier and got ready to run at the wall.

Bill and Gray went first, followed by Charlie and Fran then Percy and Oliver, then I went through closely followed by Fred and George, Ron came through followed by Ginny and finally Mam and Dad came through. We said goodbye to Mam and Dad then Fred, George, Ron, Ginny and I left to find friends while Bill, Charlie, Percy, Oliver, Francesca and Grayson left to go to the teachers compartments towards the front of the train.

We found our friends across 3 compartments. In one was Mattheo, Alicia, Lee, Tom and Cedric so Fred, George and I joined this carriage. In the second was Harry, Hermione, Luna, Neville and Isabella so Ron and Ginny joined that carriage and in the third was Blaise, Draco, Pansy, Dean and Seamus.

A/N I KNOW IN JKR'S STORIES GRYFFINDOR AND SLYTHERIN ARE ENEMIES HOWEVER SOME OF US ARE FRIENDS AND BECAUSE VOLDY DOESN'T EXIST THERE ISNT AS MUCH PURE BLOOD SUPERIORITY SO THE BLOOD STATUS ISNT AS BAD. THIS ALSO DOESN'T FOLLOW HER STORY SO IT DOESN'T MATTER ABOUT WHO IS FRIENDS WITH WHO.

At 11 O'clock the train whistle sounded and we slowly began to leave the station. As we left London the pace of the train quickened until the surrounding scenery became green blurs. Around half way through the journey Bill and Charlie made a stop off at our compartments with Fran and Gray.
