Corruption is power
I don't like the corruption
That is bringing the destruction
On the society that we speak
But it is not all that unique
This corruption is like fire
It spreads without warning
But it is a constant reminder
That corruption is power
This power is not yours
But not mine either
It is not for any of us to carry
Even if we were married
This is why I want to be buried
This corruption
Is the destruction
Of the power that we seek
Even though we are weak
That's why we don't think
Everyone wants power
It's part of our desire
Maybe that's why we use gunfire
Even though it would backfire
But I guess that is what we admire
That's why corruption is power
This political destruction
Is a critical dysfunction
Of the political parties that we speak of
Even though two of them I can think of
They want power
They want glory
They want more to this story
But everyday we hear them say the same thing
But we never see them do a damn thing
If this power is what we seek
Then what else makes us unique
It doesn't matter if corruption is gone
It just means that we are doing it wrong
Corruption is everywhere and there is nothing we can do
As long as we watch it from a view
It doesn't matter if society is in destruction
If we all are in a misconception
That's why corruption and power are connected
