A sleeping girl woke up to her phone buzzing. She goaned and rubbed her eyes as she pressed on the green button displayed on the screen,

Hello? She said sleepily.
'Hurry up for fucks sake! You are always making us late!' an irritated voice rang through the phone.
The girl recognised the voice immediately, it was her girlfriend, Tia.

Her and Tia used to be best friends until they realised they liked each other. The first month or two had been like a fairytale but recently Tia had been very distant, only talking to the girl if she needed to lash out.

'Uhh what are we going to be late for?' Asked the girl timidly, hoping for a calm response. 'What are we going to be late for?' Tia replied mocking the girl 'you know what, Nevermind. I'll ask Emma to come instead.' She raged, causing the girl to feel very small, slowly drifting off into her thoughts as Tia continued to ramble on about how she would rather Emma anyway.

'Are you even listening!?'
Tias' aggravated voice pulled the girl out of her thoughts.
The phone returned back to the dark lock screen, Tia had hung upon her.

The girl sat up in bed staring straight ahead trying to recall why she was late.
She looked at her calendar and made out the words 'Shopping with Tia'
Really? All that for a pathetic shopping trip.

She sighed and exited the warmth of her  bed, even if she wasn't going out with tia today she wanted to get out of the house. She grabbed her phone and pressed shuffle on a random playlist to drown out the insufferable sound  silence.

Hey girl would u like to come to a music festival with me and Jax?

Okay! What time?

Around 2pm ish? Apparently its supposed to have a quite well known band their so it might be busy.

Despite being so upset she couldn't help but feel great joy as she listened to the song that was playing, it was almost magic, as if all her troubles just flew away as she jumped around the kitchen with the song on full blast.
