Cora gaped at the man who walked onto the stage, it was the man from earlier.

Wilbur walked onto the stage as the field full of people erupted into applause, scanned the audience and noticed one girl near who he assumed were her friends. It was the girl from earlier.
He took his time to look at her better now that she was in the light. There was something so captivating about her. She had a roundish face with soft features even from the near 10 meter distance he could see her delicate features. She had a small nose and light freckles scattered on her checks and nose, she appeared to be wearing dark eyeliner with did a great job a bringing out her green eyes.
She was glowing pink as she made eye contact with him, Wilbur smiled at her and she smiled back.
'Earth to Cora?' Jaxon was staring at Cora looking very confused.
'Yeah Cora, why did the singer just stare at you for like a whole hour?' Charlie chimed in grinning at Cora.
She rolled her eyes 'you are so dramatic.'
She looked back at Wilbur who was now getting looks from his friends as he set up his mic. 'That's the guy from earlier. I didn't realise he going to be singing.'
Charlie and Jaxon gaped at her.
'Guys, I already have Tia' Cora uttered awkwardly 'and anyway, just look at him he must already have somebody.'
Charlie and Jaxon looked at each other.
They had seen the look on Coras face, she liked Wilbur.
'Guys,I know what you are thinking. Stop.'
Wilbur had started singing, his voice and the music felt so familiar as it drowned out all her bad thoughts and filling her with joy causing her to feel all giddy. She knew this feeling, it was the feeling she felt earlier-

'But I quite like your girlfriend,'

Cora listened closely to the song.

'How the fuck did she end up with you'

It was the song from earlier.
Cora had listened to that song that morning and loved it and now she was listening to it again feeling that same feeling of having all your sorrows washed away.
