It had been almost a month since the break up and Cora hadn't really left the house.
Charlie and Jaxon had been spending alot of time with her, comforting her and taking her mind off of things.
She was sat on the sofa scrolling through her phone as she had a thought. She clicked on the search button and typed ''Wilbur Soot'
A few videos with his face appeared. Mainly just videos of people thirsting over him.
'Understandably' She thought to herself as she remembered meeting him the day of the festival.
She clicked on the first video, a clip 9f Wilbur talking to an older man who Wilbur and another boy, slightly younger than him were referring to as Philza. Cora assumed he must be called Phil, she kept scrolling, forgetting about the past month. She didn't even know Wilbur, he was just some guy she met behind a bin but he brought so much comfort to her.

Someone knocked on the door, interrupting her thoughts.
'Cora! Open the door!'
She forced herself off the sofa and opened the door to Jaxon stood there holding a box with a grin plastered across his face.
Cora chuckled. 'What's all the excitement about?' She asked
'I got us stuff for pride!!'
She had completely forgotten that the Brighton pride march was tommorow.

Jaxon opened the box and threw a pride flag at Cora. As Cora struggled to find an exit to the seemingly never ending flag, Jaxon noticed her laptop open
'Hah I did think you seemed more cheery today!'
Cora looked at him in confusion as she emerged from the flag.
'Oh. Yeah, he came up on my fyp' She explained.
Jaxon just smirked and dragged her over to the box of colours.

It was the day of the pride march,
Coras house was filled with Colour and chaos.
Cora helped Jaxon do his eyeliner and Charlie helped them both with the rest.
Once they were all ready they left the house. Cora was wearing her favourite t shirt, tucked into some black shorts which she wore over some fishnet stockings. She had a bisexual flag wrapped round her shoulders and matching rainbow socks with Charlie and Jaxon.

'Cora! Jaxon!' A familiar voice called them through the crowd. Their friend Finn came running over. Cora hadn't seen Finn in ages, he had moved away a year or so ago and they hadn't seen him since. He had a trans flag wrapped around his shoulders and a 'trans rights' sticker hanging on for dear life to his stomach.

'Cora! Jaxon!' A voice called out.
Wilbur looked around.
He had came to pride with some of friends for support. He had never been to pride before but his friend James was going along with a couple others so Wilbur decided to tag along and get out of the house.
Cora was the name of that girl he saw at the festival. The one he saw behind the bin. What if this was her?

He looked at the crowd again, searching for the girl, a girl with fiery hair caught his eye. It was the girl who sat with cora at the festival! He felt his stomach flip as he started making his way through the crowd to her.

'Are you okay?' Cora had noticed an odd expression on Charlie's face.
'Turn around'
'What?' She turned around to see Wilbur stood behind her with a very awkward grin
'Hi' He uttered in a small voice as his face went a deep shade of red.
Cora stood shocked for a second
'Hi' She replied returning a grin.

They both stood there grinning at eachother for an awkward amount of time before Jaxon snatched Coras phone out of her pocket, clicked on contacts and handed the phone to Wilbur.
'Your number. Her phone' Wilbur took the phone and typing his number in and handing it back, triple checking it was the right number before letting go.
Jaxon then handed the phone back to Cora and put his hand out for Wilbur to shake.
Wilbur took his hand and shook it.
'Hurt her and i'll kill you' Jaxon said, while looking up at him 'She hasn't stopped talking about you since she met you. I'm Jaxon by the way.'
'Nice to meet you Jaxon'
