"Is there anyone who is curious in knowing if you can beat yourself in a game of chance and manipulation?" That was the thought of a young girl that day. While looking at the TV screen in the rain, the screen glitched to life into forming a flickering image of an outstretched hand pointing to her, as if to signify her confirmation to it's question.
....
Minutes passes by while the girl with red hair ignores the feeling of being wet in the rain in favor of pondering her answer carefully, fully knowing that the answer will change her life forever with no chance at going back to the way it was before this.
Finally when the girl lifted her head towards the screen, her blank face broke in a manic grin and casually said her answer barely holding her excitement.
"Sure, why not? It would be an interesting chance to finally see something amusing, no?" The red haired girl said casually, smiling all the while and opening her eyes that matches with her red hair with many unkown emotions swirling in her natural red eyes.
The glitchy image on the TV screen turn black after it heard her answer, but quickly as it turn black the screen opened and a clear image pop up. It was a horizontal, jagged eye that resembles the Hope's Peak Academy logo seemingly gleaming ominously in the screen. A static laughter can be heard while the girl was not all to bothered by it, But when she heard a static voice, the girl leaned in to listen.
"Phuhuhuhuhuh!! I know my own self would never disappoint me!! Even in a different reality, So~ let's officially start this game up!"
The girl only stood while hearing this, but she let her smile turn became wide and let out her own unique laugh same as the one in the screen.
'Oh. I can't wait~'
________
If I where to remember, when was the last time I wasn't bored, the answer would be too long to remember.
Since the day I can understand one's true nature is the day where it all started from here to end. That life is simple all too boring.
I was someone who was labeled as a genius or a prodigy. Where I excel in anything, such as seeing someone do something new, I can quickly copy their movements and simply do it with no troubles at all. And not only that but somehow because of how I can easily understand someone or something I can able to predict on what they would do or how it can happen in a later date, because of this life somehow became dull for me accept it.
As a child one could already know on how they would act. Even I who was labeled as a genius can easily tell. Adults would think that some children would be spoiled, noisy, gross, immature, cute, trouble, pure, etc. And yet children and adults sometimes do tend to act abnormal. Where many can't really understand them.
But anyway.... to bring you back to my point, life shouldn't be predictable. And yet life couldn't be toyed with either. It's somehow a secret law where you can't expect something natural to make life more exciting but to force it. Though I guess forcing life may cause something abnormal to happen.
Something like this? Perhaps?
________
The red haired girl thought calming down while looking up at the now blank screen. The previous image gone as if the TV from the store never mysteriously open in the middle of the night while raining. The girl could only shrug and her blank look return but inside in her mind and soul a deep feeling she has so long had experience finally burst out. The feelings of excitement, anticipation and "hope" swirls deeply in her mind while she starts to walk away from the screen and couldn't help but reveal a genuine smile to grace her face for a long time in her life.
Finally. It seems that today will be marked as the ending of a dull life.
