Kitsune stood in sinking horror, staring at the tall male. Yet at the same time, she was also taking into her appearance. 'Ok... Why did no one tell me he was THIS pretty?' She wondered, squeaking a little as he took long strides towards her.
She slowly took a few steps back, but this only cornered her. With a smirk, he stared down at her before speaking up again. "No response? That's fine. But you know, it'd be a shame to... Get rid of you just like that, don't you agree?" He asked.
He slowly backed up, allowing her to breathe before speaking. "So, with that, why don't we play a little game, my dear?" He asked.
"A-A game?" Kitsune stuttered, trying to ignore the heat rising to her cheeks from the pet name.
"Indeed. A game of... Cat and mouse, of sorts." He started off, going to the front door and locking it. "You will have two minutes to run and hide, evading me if possible. If I find you, you better give me a good reason to spare you. Otherwise.. The game ends in a less than pleasant manner. In your case, anyways." He explained.
"S-So..." Kitsune paused, taking a deep breath. 'Stop stuttering. If you stutter, he'll know you're afraid. Do not give him the satisfaction of knowing it.' She thought to herself before looking up at him. "So you're saying... If I convince you not to kill me, you'll let me go. Is that correct?" She asked.
"Yes it is. Oh, and dear? I haven't been able to have much fun with a guest recently, so.." He paused, tilting Kitsune's head up with his fingers to make eye contact with her.
"Do try to keep this interesting for me, won't you, darling?"
With a slight gulp, Kitsune nodded. Why? She wasn't completely sure. It was really hard to think straight in this situation. Because one, this situation was quite anxiety inducing in general. Two... Well, having a tall, admittedly attractive male refer to her by nicknames like dear and darling was enough to make the redhead's brain misfire.
"Good, good. Now then, you better start moving. You have two minutes." Christopher remarked, closing his eyes- presumably counting in his head.
With a slight squeak, Kitsune bolted away. Her heeled shoes giving off a tap with each step. That.. was an issue she'd definitely need to take care of. She ran far enough to an area where he couldn't hear her and ducked into the first room that she saw.
It was a little dark, but she could make it out to be a storage room of sorts. Panting, she walked over to a pile of crates by the door and hid behind them. She took off her shoes, slipping them into her bag. If she ran around with them on, he would definitely hear her.
"I... did not... think this would... play out this way..." She mumbled between huffs. "What am I gonna do? How do I convince him not to kill me? I can't say 'I have a family to get back to'- that'd never work..!" She fretted before sighing. "Besides... It isn't like that's exactly true..." She mumbled.
"No, no, Kit, get it together..! You're gonna be fine, you just... need to figure something-" She paused, noticing a note on the floor. "Huh? Where'd this come from? Did I somehow not see it? Possibly- I did kinda just rush here." She said, gingerly picking up the paper and looking over it's contents. It looked to be a journal entry of sorts.
"'March 8th, 2017. Lilith's gone. They killed her right in front of me by ha-'"
She paused mid-sentence, noticing the sound of shoes clicking along the wooden floor. Along with... something metallic being dragged along. It was Christopher, no doubt. He was looking for her.
'Maybe... Maybe I shouldn't read it out loud, just to be safe..' She thought, before reading the note in her head.
"They killed her right in front of me by hanging her from the ceiling. They forced me to watch. I didn't dare cry in front of them- not if I didn't want to be punished again. I don't understand why they keep doing this. Hell, I don't even know why they started. Do they really hate me that much? What'd I do to deserve it?"
After reading, Kitsune's eyes widened a bit- processing what she just read. "Holy tits, that's fucked... Could this be from... Christopher..?" She mumbled. With a slight hum, she took out her journal wrote down a few things about what she just said. "I wonder who Lilith is..." She whispered.
"Oh, that would be me."
She looked up upon hearing the unfamiliar voice. Standing, or rather, dangling in front of her was a ghostly teenage girl, hanging from the ceiling by a rope. Kitsune almost screamed but fought it back.
What in the actual HELL had she gotten into?!
