“ ....mhn.. ”
Kiara begins to wake up, she noticed her arms and legs are wrapped up with bandages, she slowly gets up, making Ame notice and she stood up, held Kiara's shoulder gently and spoke
“ Kiara, you can't get up yet, you need to rest more, Don't worry we still have time to rest for a while here. ”
Kiara suddenly remembers a blurry vision of Mori during the battle, she then jolted out of the ground and stood up.
“ Calli! W-where's calli?! ”
“ Kiara, It's okay, she's over there ”
Said Ame as she points to Mori, laying down as well, next to her was Gura and Ina, Ina was using the book to boost Mori's regeneration system faster as she rest.
“ She's fine, she's just regenerating slow, I'm boosting it up to make it faster as she sleep. ”
Said Ina, Kiara then began to remember what happened as she held her head.
“ Who.. Are those people who attacked me and Calli.. ”
“ members of the council.. They're after us beings.. ”
Said Ina, and glances onto Ame
“ ..however, the council of Time is after you hu— I mean.. Ame. ”
“ I know, I stole this little thing from her for purposes. ”
Said Ame as she held the pocket watch
“ But for now, why don't we get some wood for tonight? ”
Said Ame, Ina then nodded as well then slowly stood up, then spoke.
“ I suppose we could get some wood, I've boosted Calli's regeneration, now all she needs is to rest ”
Kiara then slowly stood up and spoke
“ I'll go with you guys.. ”
“ but Kiara.. ”
Said Gura, but Kiara then interrupted
“ It's okay, I'm fine now.. You stay here with Calli.. ”
Gura then slowly nodded as the three goes out to get some wood
Mumei slowly opens her eyes, she found herself back in the Council's Room. She then noticed Fauna next to her, sitting on a chair as she noticed her awake.
“ Mumei, You're finally awake, how's your injuries, I.. Tried my best to fix it up, I hope it was enough ”
Said Fauna, Mumei remained quiet and she looked at Fauna, she then spoke
“ ...Where's Kronii? ”
Fauna remained silent, knowing Mumei didn't bother to care about what she did as she was injured, she then stood up and turns to the door, realizing Kronii was leaning on the door, Fauna silently passed by her as Mumei looked at Kronii.
“ Kronii.. ”
Kronii glances at Fauna who was now walking away, and looked back at Mumei then spoke.
“ Look what you've done, first you got injured, now you're not considering Fauna's affection to you. ”
Mumei then looks at the window, watching dark clouds from afar, up in the sky, Their Council Headquarter are in the sky, seeing everything under them.
“ We don't have that type of relationship. ”
Said Mumei.
“ And so do we, You should pay attention to her more like she pay attention to you, you do know she's sensitive about these things, yet you're like this. ”
“ even if I tried doing things for you, you too don't appreciate it as well. ”
Said Mumei as she slowly looks at Kronii.
“ That's because I don't need your help, Mumei. ”
Said Kronii with a slight glare in her eyes as she slowly turns around.
“ You're lucky you're still alive, you better work on your fighting skills. ”
Said Kronii, then leaves the room, Mumei looks down as she clenches her grip on the blanket.
Mori begins to wake up and slowly blinks.
“ ...g..u..h.. ”
She then slowly looks around and sees Gura, Gura then looks back at her and walks to Mori
“ Hey, you're finally awake. ”
“ Where are the others? ”
She then remember about Kiara's not there as well, she looks around and spoke
“ And where's.. Kiara? ”
“ They went to get some wood, don't worry, Ina and Ame are with her ”
Mori then slowly stands up, Gura then worriedly asked
“ Hey, are you alright now..? ”
“ Yeah, I'm good now dude ”
Mori then slowly walks out of the cave as she slide her hands on the wall, she looks at the sky, the sky starts to get a little dark as the sun sets, She began to walk slowly out as she spoke
“ ...aight, I'll just join them, you stay here for a while. ”
“ They're probably not too far and alright, I'mma just stay here. ”
Said Gura as she watch Mori walks away, Mori walks around a forest where she slowly stops as she looks down on the grass that was green and alive, she glances at the distance that's in front of her silently, she took a deep breath and began to walk as the grass slowly bends down and die, forming a gray, dead grass path. She then hears voices not too far as she stops on an open field where she sees Kiara, Ina and Ame, talking as they pick up wood and sticks on the ground, Ina felt Mori's presence and glances at her, Ame then noticed Ina looking at someone and looks at Mori as well then spoke
“ Oh.. It's.. ”
Kiara hears Ame's words and turns to see Mori standing, Mori began to walk to them
“ Hey gu— ”
At that moment she felt a sudden tight arms around her before she could speak, she then realized the warmth of someone's arms, wrapped around her and she slowly glances down a bit, seeing some Orange hair, swaying as a wind blew by, Kiara, hugging her tightly as she mumbled.
“ ..I thought you wouldn't wake up, you made me so worried... ”
Mori stayed silent at the moment however, she slowly hugged back and spoke, slightly looking away.
“ ..I'm fine now, don't worry, I'm not that weak y'know. ”
Ame then slowly glances at the sky, noticing the sun is almost gone and spoke.
“ It's getting dark guys, we should go back now. ”
“ Sure ”
“ mhm ”
Said Mori and Ina as Kiara lets go and so does Mori, they then went back to the cave and sees gura bringing some one or two fishes from a nearby river.
“ Got these over there! Let's cook em! ”
The four then smiled as they head back to the cave.
