Shouted Kiara as she fight against Mumei back and forth even with a lethal injury in her right arm, Amelia couldn't move, Kiara manages to sprint behind Mumei, bringing down a lethal slash behind her, Mumei then gave Kiara a good grip on her robe and throws her to a tree as she turns to Kiara, Kiara managed to stand up while her robe began to burn as Kiara slowly opens her ability against Mumei, holding her flaming sword, glaring at Mumei, she then swayed her sword upwards as another gust of wind appears where Kiara is standing, the location where they are began to get warmer and warmer, Mumei then felt Kiara's tremendous overflowing power surrounding her, Mumei then backs off but she was cornered since she was in the cliff, she then looks at Kiara as she huffed in pain, Kiara then dashes to Mumei on a rapid speed as she swayed a few meters away from her as a huge amount of flames and wind pushes Mumei with multiple burns due to the flame and was thrown away to another island nearby, Amelia closed her eyes, covering her head with her arm, stays still on her place as a big gust of wind almost blew her away, she then heard a big impact, however it was quite a bit far, she then slowly opens her eyes and saw Kiara on the edge on the cliff as her robe burn to ashes, holding her flaming sword and looking at the nearby island, Amelia then slowly walks near Kiara as she began to see smokes coming from the nearby Island, Kiara then spreads her wings as she made it appear and she dashes to the nearby island, Amelia attempted to spoke to Kiara but she already left.
“ Kiara!— ”
Amelia sighed as she looks around, Meanwhile, Kiara then lands near Mumei, who was lethally injured and was trying her best to drag her body away from Kiara as she groan in pain.
“ gh...! ”
Kiara began to walk to Mumei and she slowly sway her sword upward once again, in prediction, Kiara may use the same attack again, The Council had their eyes on the whole scene, Fauna, out of instincts, she stood up out of her Chair and rushes out, Baelz then spoke to her
“ Fauna..! ”
Before Baelz can stop her, Fauna disappears.
Kiara was about to sway her sword towards Mumei but she was stopped by a sudden grip on her arms she then looked at her arms, realizing her arms and legs covered in vines with thorns, She then gets thrown away to a tree and was tied in the tree with the branches as she struggles in pain as her right arm injury as well as the thorn injuries after she gets thrown, the branches squeezes Kiara's injuries, making her scream in pain, she then looked at the figure who suddenly spoke out from the bushes.
“ Who dares to hurt my Mumei? ”
Ceres Fauna, Council of Nature. Mother nature herself is fighting against the Phoenix.
Fauna then clenches her raised right hand, making the branches that was Kiara was tied tightens as well.
“ gh..!!! ”
Kiara slowly drip in blood, her mouth began bleed as well, as blood drips, she struggles, trying to burn the branch but was unable since her injuries are bothering and weakening her, she lost her grip on her sword as it drops to the ground, Fauna then walks towards Mumei as Mumei lays, breathing heavily, Fauna then raised her hand, making the grass and vines around mumei, raise mumei's body as Fauna held her cheek, Mumei then leans on her gentle palm as she looked at her, Fauna then looks at Mumei's injuries and spoke
“ My poor Mumei.. I will get revenge on the creature who hurt you, my dear Mumei. ”
She then leaned onto Mumei's forehead, giving her a gentle kiss, making Mumei fall unconscious, resting upon the vines and grass holding her, Fauna looks at Kiara who was beginning to lose her conscious due to hemorrhage, Fauna began to walk towards her, with anger in her eyes, slowly then spoke.
“ You shall pay— ”
Her sentence was stopped when a overpowering presence suddenly appears a bit far behind her, the grass began to fall down and turn gray, Dying. Fauna looks to her side, seeing the grass and atmosphere die in a rapid time speed, she then realized who's presence came, and is behind her, Kiara then slowly lifts her head, even though her visions are blurry and fuzzy, she can tell who's behind Fauna, meanwhile Fauna, due to the tremendous and overpowering presence, made her stopped walking towards Kiara as began to turn around, as expected, it was her, Coming out of the dark portal, hands then appeared out of the portal, the more the person's appearance come out of the portal, the more trees and grass die upon where Fauna is standing, finally, the figure came out, wearing a dark gown, with goldish lining, wearing a veil, having a pink hair, and an amazing design for a scythe, Mori Calliope, coming out of the portal, surrounded with dark mist, Fauna just froze in place as she sees Mori steeping in the dead grass, Mori then spoke with a very deep tone, much like her sensei.
