Happy 1 year of witnessing magic through two beautiful soul's ☃❄💜🌹

Ashwin stood in front of the mirror buttoning his shirt as he took glimpse of his wife adjusting her pleats in half sleep. Sivaangi squinted her eyes but the tiredness stepped in as she was sleep deprived for the past two days due to the continuous wedding rituals.

"Sivaangi ma" he whispered near her ears. She just turned closing her eyes and hugged ashwin relishing the warmth his bare chest provided.

"Enakku thookam varuthu aswhineyy" she whined like a kid refusing to go to school.

(I feel sleepy)

Ashwin pecked her head "Ennoda papakku thokkam varuthah?" he asked and she hummed in response still her eyes shut.

"Enakku ippo thoonganum ashwiney"

(I want to sleep)

"You can sleep in the car ma" he tried to poke her shoulder but her grip on him was tight.

"Ethukku intha early morning kovil visits? Evening ponalum kadavul ange thane irukka poren. Engayum odi poga matten la?" sivaangi complained and ashwin chuckled at her innocence.

(Why do we have to visit temple in the morning? God will be still there in the evening as well)

"Pooja kalayil than ma so..." he tried to explain but she turned around pushing him.

(Pooja is in the morning)

"Po ashwineyy unakku en mele konjam kooda paasam illa" she said with a pout and he immediately pulled her in front of the mirror and hugged her from behind.

(You don't even love me)

"Nan sonnen la just one more day athukku approm I have a surprise for you" ashwin said and her eyes had an instant bright smile.

"Surprise ah?" sivaangi asked excitedly and he nodded his head in response.

"I have booked a resort for two days" he hugged her tight inhaling her scent and whispered "neeyum naanum mattum"

(Only you and me)

She giggled to his husky tone.

"Appo evlo venalum you can sleep no one will take you for early morning temple visits"

"Will you let me sleep?" she asked at their reflection with a wink.

He placed his head in her crook and with a smirk declared "night full ah workout pannittu morning full ah thoongalam ma"

"ohhh" she said with her trademark tone to which ashwin also joined tickling her eventually bringing a wholehearted smile on her face.

"By the way don't forget to put the buttons" she warned and moved aside to brush her hair controlling her blush.

He just stood there smiling at this side of her.

Days passed quickly and the young couple was engrossed in their work life. Sivaangi was silently planning a surprise for his birthday. She wanted to make him feel special.

Sivaangi walked into their room to see him dressing as if he was going somewhere out.

"You're going somewhere?" she asked folding hands on her chest.

"Yeh, script reading" he said as he turned at her.

"Oh" she sounded low and ashwin smiled at her 'oh'

She thought for a while and said "shall I also come?"

"Yethukku ma? You won't have anything to do there and unakku bore adikkum" he trailed off her request and turned to take his mobile and car keys.

"Just 2 to 3 hours...I'll be back" he sincerely tried to cheer her up as he cupped her face and placed a kiss on her forehead.

"Neenga poga vendam" she again tried to request.

(Don't go)

"Ennachu unakku? Enakkage ellarum wait pannitirukke. Already I'm late by 7 minutes. You know right I don't like to keep them waiting" he told and sivaangi's eyes glistened at his serious tone.

(Everyone will be waiting for me)

"Ok I'll try to comeback very soon. Please moonji ippadi vechikathey ennale poga mudiyathu"

(Don't keep your face like this. I won't be able to go)

"Appo pogathey" she whined like a baby.

(Then don't go)

"Ma please ma just 2 hours" he said and she nodded halfheartedly as she saw him move out of the room.

"Avarukku ennalum avaroda kothamalli than mukhyam" she thought to herself before proceeding to the kitchen as her craving was not in her hands that day. She was experiencing severe PMS that day and she wanted ashwin to be her side but unfortunately he had his own work commitments leaving sivaangi in disbelief.

(He loves his work more)

When ashwin came back tired after the reading session, he was welcomed to their room by sivaangi laughing wholeheartedly at their semi final episode. He entered into the room with a huge grin on his face seeing his wife in all smiles.

"Ashwiney vandhuttiya? Inga vaa cwc paakalam" she tapped on the couch signalling him to join her. 

"Varen ma fresh aagittu varen" he moved in to the washroom to get freshen and got himself settled near her in comfortable clothes. Her eyes bloomed with happiness at the box of fresh macrons that ashwin had got for her when he returned from his work. She being upset with ashwin was all obliterated with his simple efforts. She could finally feel 'HOME' at his presence.

Both of them were hooked into the screens watching their own cute banters munching the macrons and chatted happily on the memories of their life changing show. Ashwin smiled looking at the clip where she wished for a piggy back ride "Enakkum antha mathiri uppu mootai la eranum nu aasai theriyuma?"

It would seem to be a very basic wish for her but for ashwin these little gestures from her screamed his supremacy in her life even at that point of their life. He drummed his fingers over her head as she lie down on his lap. As they wind up the episode ashwin gestured her to stand on the couch. Sivaangi blinking her eyes in confusion agreed to his request.

Ashwin turned his back towards her front and tapped his shoulders. Without a single word she understood what he meant and she happily jumped on him for the most anticipated wish of a piggy back ride with him. That day sivaangi understood that a simple piggy back ride could also give the same feel as a hot air balloon ride. It's just that you need a right person in your life. They together manifested for a lifetime of pure unconditional love.
