Ashwin and sivaangi were into their tight schedule once again after their wedding. Most of the time it was sivaangi who was busy with her recording and concerts. When ashwin was free sivaangi would be working and vice versa. Finally the weekend was free for sivaangi so she decided to peek into the kitchen to see devi maa sautéing paneer in a pan.

The delicious aroma was filling the kitchen and sivaangi stood there keenly observing the steps. Devi maa passed a warm smile and kept the sautéed paneer aside "enna da pasikutha?" devi maa asked caressing her cheeks and she nodded with a pout.

(Hungry?)

"Just 10 minutes dinner ready" she turned to resume her cooking session when sivaangi too volunteered to help her and started to knead the chapatti dough. The home was filled with the aroma of the paneer curry and their sweet chatters.

When ashwin was back home after a continuous week shoot, he found sivaangi sleeping soundly. It was already one in the midnight  so he got freshen up and wrapped his wife into his embrace.  Sivaangi snuggled more into him as she felt his warmth after a week "I missed you so much" ashwin kissed his months old wife's cheek mumbling "I missed you more"and both of them slept off due to tiredness cuddling each other.

A year passed in a swift and both the couple were getting ready for the award night. Sivaangi was nominated for the 'best playback singer' and ashwin for the 'best actor critic's' award. She was wearing a lavender georgette saree and ashwin in a beige coat.

She picked the floral diamond drop dangler which was gifted by ashwin on her birthday. It was a romantic birthday for her being in each other's embrace under the northern lights. She felt serene hugging her husband's bare chest and gazing at the holy grail of the nature's most beautiful phenomenon.

Sivaangi blushed as she adjusted her curl which was caught by her husband through the mirror.

"Madam yethukku ippo blush panren? Naan innum onnum pannalaye" ashwin said with a teasing tone.

("Why are you blushing? I didn't even touch you")

Sivaangi bit her cheeks to hide the blush and gestured him to take a glance at her pretty earring.

"Earring dhane? nalla irukku ma" he causally revert back

"Ayyo neenga seri aana tube light ma" she grumbled when a pair of hand twirled her and his hands were briskly wrapped around her waist.

She felt a ticklish sensation as he bend closer to her "Your birthday (peck her forehead), this earring (peck her ear), a bouquet of roses (peck her eyes), northern lights (peck her nose) and...(peck her lips) she smiled and hide herself on his chest listening to his heartbeat.

("You're hopeless")

He whispered in his base voice looking at her. "Oyye rowdy ippadi enna tempt pannathey. Approm award function ennale concentrate panna mudiyathu"

("Don't tempt me")

She hugged him tight as he felt content at that moment taking his world into his embrace "Cheers to a lifetime of anniversaries rowdy"

"Cheers kumareyy" she murmured kissing his heartbeat.

Sivaangi shot a look at him and gave a radiant smile "Thankyou for making me feel what butterflies in stomach feel like" 

"Pleasure is all mine kulu kulu" saying so he tightened his grip on her waist enjoying their proximity.

The conflicting thoughts and nervousness about their victory were long forgotten as both of them collected their awards from their respective idols and walked down the stage of one of the most prestigious award function in triumph on their first anniversary making it even more special for the husband wife.

Ashwin placed both of their awards along with their previous accolades in their favourite corner of their home. His eyes moved to his favourite award which was gifted by his wife on his birthday which was titled 'Husband of the year'. He brushed his fingers over the trophy and recollected him being fascinated at the turquoise water and the shiny bioluminescent planktons at the shore of Maldives with his dear wife gifting him one of the best birthday experience ever.

Sivaangi overwhelmingly wrapped her hands around his chest from behind contemplating their awards "I love you ashwiney"

Ashwin kissed her hand clutching his blazer "I love you too ma"

God sends certain people to your life to make you realize that this person will love you the way other people didn't and you will experience something that you have never experienced in life. That's magic and both ashwin and sivaangi was experiencing one of the best days of their life.
