Couldnt be bothered

"Hey there, buddy, I'm back!"
'Mrow'

Pebble unbuckled the satchel from her waist and placed it on the table by the door.
"Ready to see the haul?"

Pebble kneeled down and opened the satchel, she pulled out several now dry rocks and let bird sniff them.
Once he was done with that, she pulled out the sticks and moss and let him repeat the process.

After bird inevitably lost interest, she piled the collection back into the satchel and took it to her room.

Once she got the the room, she places the satchel on an empty spot on her dresser, unzipped it, and started carefully taking out and placing the contents on shelves.

"You woulda loved this."
Pebble thought.
She stood there for a moment, reminiscing.

Bird walked into the room, startling her, she hadn't expected to feel fur brush her leg.

"Hey there buddy,"
He looked up at her
"I'm gonna take a nap, don't break anything, alright?"

She got under the covers of her small bed, bird jumping up to lay next to her.
She lied there for a good 30 minutes, trying to drift off, but of course, as always, it's hard to.

So she just laid there, even if it wasn't sleep, it was still rest.
She could hear Bird slowly stop Purring as he fell asleep, curled up by her side.

After a while of this, she checked the time,
"8:25? Maybe I should get up now"
