Tessa's P.O.V

Cameron's been acting strange lately. He's being careful around me. He's being more gentle than usual, almost as if I could smash from him touching me. I understand what happened to me was horrible believe me, of all people I know that. But it must be hard for him too. I can't be a good girlfriend because I'm too scared he'll hurt me, even though deep down he wouldn't and or couldn't hurt a fly.

"You okay baby?" Cam walked into the room.

"Yeah" I mumbled, keeping a straight face, looking through my Twitter on my laptop.

"Who said I was talking to you?" I looked up at him and he was holding Jaxx in his arms. Then Jaxx liked him and he kissed Jaxx' nose.

I giggled and he came over to me. "I've been thinking-" he paused. I looked into his eyes "I've been thinking that maybe we should move out, get our own place" this totally shocked me. He was the only reason we were still in this house of hell.

He continued "I thought it would be good to, you know, have a fresh start. Away from the boys. I love them to death but I love you ten times more. If you're not happy here then I should respect that, all I want is for you to be happy and I'll do whatever I can to make that possible. Besides, it's way too crowded here. We're both twenty and we're gonna start thinking about having a family soon-only when you feel comfortable, of course, but still. The girls here probably couldn't hold a child without scratching it with their twenty inch nails" he smiled. I do want a family with Cam and I guess he's right. I just don't feel comfortable doing anything at the moment.

I nodded and pecked his lips.

"Cam, you still need to meet my parents" I reminded him.

I know, I know 'but you and Cam have known each other since you were fifteen, how hasn't he met your parents?' Well, my parents are nice people but they are very, very strict. No boyfriends; if any boys were to come round door must be kept wide open; no 'slutty', in my parents words, friends; if found doing anything inappropriate I were to be grounded for 3 months!

"Invite them round for dinner, everyone's on tour so it's not like they're here to annoy us anyway" he suggested.

"Good idea" I pulled out my phone. I have three brothers and one sister. I'm the middle child. A.k.a the black sheep of the family, the one that the parents only speak to if they have to. I get along with my siblings though.

Siblings:
Ethan- 26
Noah- 24
Me/Tessa- 20 (tess or tessy-nickname)
Mason- 17 (mase-nickname)
Sophia- 10 (Soph-nickname)

There's a pretty big age gap between Ethan and Sophia but that's just how my parents roll, I guess (that sounds so wrong😹)

*ring*ring*
Tessa- hello? Mom?
T/m- hello sweat h- MASON LEAVE YOUR SISTER ALONE!

I giggled, listening to my younger siblings argue with each other. I used to be like that with Ethan, and Noah. By the time Sophia was old enough for me to mess around with her I was 17 and she was 7. I was mature and experienced enough to know not to mess with her. I knew what it was like to be messed with and even though it starts off as a joke, it gets very annoying after a while and with Mason we never really had anything to argue about. Though Ethan, Noah and Mason are very loving brothers.

Ethan is married and Noah is engaged. Mason has a girlfriend and Sophia has a bunch of boys arguing to go out with her. In some ways I wish it was like that for me in high school. I was bullied. I had one friend: Cameron. And he only came half way through high school.

T/m- okay honey, make it quick. Your brother and sister are arguing, again.

She sighed. I chuckled to myself.

Tessa- I was wondering if you, dad, Ethan, Emily (Ethan's wife), Noah, Tammy (Noah's fiancé), Mason and Sophia want to come round for dinner tonight. The only person that's met Cameron out of you guys is Soph and that's because I had to look after her at my place.

T/m- we would be delighted, text me the address and what time. I've got to go, love you

I hung up and texted her all the details.

"So?" Cam walked back into the bedroom. If I'm honest I didn't notice him leaving.

"They're all coming round tonight. I can't be bothered to cook for ten people, I'm just going to order Chinese food" I smiled, ordering it on my laptop. I know what everyone likes from the Chinese place because when we all lived at home we had Chinese takeaway, all the time.

I went into the bathroom and turned on the shower. I shut the door and took off my clothes, stepping into the shower. Goose bumps rose on my skin and the warm water hit my body. I felt a pair of arms wrap around me.

"Cameron!" I yelled.

"Yeah" he replied as if nothing was happening.

"What ya doin'?" I asked, picking up the shampoo bottle, his arms still around me.

"Just saving water" he rested his chin on my shoulder. I opened the cap of the shampoo. "Oh, oh, I wanna do it" he slightly jumped up and down like a little kid. I giggled and put a drop on his hand, trying not to turn around as, If I did, my body would be exposed to him.

He gently messaged it into my head and then I rinsed it out. I put conditioner on the ends then washed it off. Next on my list, body wash. Oh fvck, it's behind Cameron. I don't want him to see my body, well what he hasn't already seen, but I want to smell good.

"Umm... Cam... Could you, please, possibly pass me my body wash, it's behind you, on the side" I asked.

"Why don't you get it" he asked, he knew why I was asking him, he just wanted me to turn around. I groaned and turned around, as I was about to grab the body wash he pulled me into him and smirked. That smirk though 😏😱🔥🔥... Sorry, getting a bit off subject there...

"What?" I asked, bluntly. I started smiling as he pulled faces at me.

"You're beautiful, you know that?" He put a strand of my, now wet, hair behind my ear.

"You're hot, you know that?" I pecked his lips.

"Well, I do try" he started kissing me, under the water.

I turned back around and switched off the shower. Now.... How am I going to get out. I decided to just go for it and I stepped out, thinking as he was behind me he wouldn't see anything. But, as you probably know by now, most things don't go my way. There's a fracking giant mirror right in front of me. I look at him through it and he's just staring at me. I grabbed my towel and wrapped it round my body, walking out of the bathroom. I heard him muttering to himself.

I went into the walk in wardrobe and picked out a tight red dress. Cam's arms wrapped around my chest area. He picked me up, off of the ground and spun me around.

"Cam!" I giggled. "We have to get ready" he sighed and put me down.

I got dressed in the bedroom as he got dressed in the wardrobe. He came out in a button up top, tan khakis and his red vans. I had on my red dress, a necklace that was a present from all my siblings and my pandora bracelet from my parents. I wore the promise ring that Cam got me when we were 18 for our two year 'anniversary'. I wore my hair down. By now it had naturally dried. I out on my slippers and walked out of the bedroom. Cam picked me up and ran downstairs with me.

He put me on the couch and went and payed for the take away. We started putting everything onto plates and setting the table.

I looked over at Cam. I've only ever seen him nervous one other time in my life and that was when he asked me out, oh and don't forget every time he talked to me beforehand. I went over and kissed his cheek.

"Everything's going to be okay, stop wo-" I was cut off by the doorbell ringing.
