Chapter 12

Tessa's P.O.V

We were woken that night, by the alarm. I was scared out of my mind but I'm glad that they managed to catch him. I can finally sleep with ease, knowing that Cameron and I will be safe. Well, safer than we were yesterday.

Cams arms are wrapped so tightly around me, I'm surprised I can breathe. I tried to stand up but he pulled me back down.

"Cam, I need to get ready" I groaned.

"Well, I want to cuddle so it's too bad for you" he kept his eyes closed and nuzzled his head in the crook of my neck.

I got up, walking to the wardrobe. You know when something to do with something you're scared of happens somewhere... And then every time you go there it's almost as if it haunts you. I have that about this stupid snake. I grabbed my clothes and ran out of the wardrobe.

Cam chuckled at how stupid I've been acting about it. I playfully glared at him. When we got downstairs everyone was sat on the couch. Maggie was jumping up and down, pulling on Carters arm.

"No Maggie, no one else wants to" he groaned, pulling his arm away from her.

"No one else wants to what?" I asked as Cam sat down.

"I wanna go to the beach" she moaned.

"I'll come with you, I need to tan anyways" I giggled at her childish behaviour.

She pulled me upstairs to my room and picked out my bikini, dragging me to her room to get hers, we put them on under our clothes. She jumped on my back and I ran downstairs, running to my car outside. We drove to the beach and parked in the massive parking lot. We found some beach loungers that had an umbrella in between.

We took our clothes off and Maggie gasped "what?" I asked, curious. She started laughing and pointed to my stomach. I had hickeys all over my stomach. I felt my face heat up, I covered my body in a towel and Maggie smirked at me.

I put my sunglasses on and laid on my lounger.

Other than a few boys wolf whistling at us we just talked the whole time. Maggie is an amazing friend. She's so funny and we have a lot in common.

It started getting dark and we decided we should go home. Everyone was talking and laughing on the couches.

Cam sighed when he saw me and pulled me up the stairs. Maggie winked at me before he did and I rolled my eyes at her, playfully.

When we were in our room I have Cam a questioning look. He looked really, genuinely upset.

"What's wrong?" I pulled him into a hug.

"They're making me go on tour Tess, I have to do this for my career" he looked down. My eyes started watering. We've been through so much in the last few days. He can't leave me.

"Y-you can't leave m-me" tears fell down my cheeks, I've given up trying to hold them back.

"Tessa, I can't help it. I love my fans and I can't let them down, again" he looked into my eyes.

"I'm scared" I covered my face in my hands "what if someone hurts me" I sobbed.

He picked me up and sat on the bed, putting me on his lap.

"No ones going to hurt you. We'll get through this. Together"

This is the last chapter 💗 there's going to be a second book so I'll publish that... probably... Monday? I'm also writing a third book... It's a Hayes Grier one 💗
