When I finally manage to pull myself together from what seemed like the worst breakdown I ever had, I fish my phone out of my pocket to discover that I have sat here for the past 20 minutes. I stand up so fast my head spins, but I don't really care.

I walk over to KFC and get myself some chicken. My mum hates the fact that both me and the rest of my family are meat eaters. She is a strick vegetarian herself, so whenever any guests come round she has to preapere meat dishes for them which she despites of. That is not the only downside to her vegetarianism. It means that she never gets actual meat, meaning that when I want to eat something that at least resembles some animal, I have to eat Quorn. It tastes pretty good, but it will never be as good as actual chicken or cow.

By the time I finish eating my meal, it is almost 30 minutes later. My school is about 10 minutes away, so if I hurry I could meet up with my friends. I make my way to the school building and send a quick message to my friends group; Liam, Bella, Joe, Edward, Yolanda and Patrick. "Going to the ice cream shop after school?" Shortly after I get six replies, agreeing on it. We establish the meeting place and after hearing the school bell I am met by the enthusiastic laughter of my friends. I see everyone, but there is someone extra there. It's the black haired girl whom I didn't help earlier on. Althrough I don't know her, I can instantly tell something is bothering her. But I don't particularly care. After all, I don't know her and I am not the right person to be helping anyway. Anyway, who invited her to come with us?

I decide to ignore her for the rest of the trip. I don't want new people in my life, especially those of her kind. After we arrive at the cafeteria we purchase some ice cream and sit down at a table. We start talking about the newest minecraft modes. Suddenly, one of the girls, Bella, turns to us after a chat with the black haired girl. "Guys, I have only just realised that she is new here, and you might have not had the chance to meet her yet. This is Nicole. Nicole moved here from London two weeks ago and has only just started at our school." Great. The last thing I want to hear about is her and her life. Althrought only barely, I look at her face. I notice that she is wearing glasses with black rims. Her face seems to be quite symmetrical. Whatever. All my friends are now asking her questions such as who her parents are, what school she went to before this one and so on. I don't need to listen, it's not like she will be staying in my life any longer anyway.

We finish off our ice creams, say bye and part our ways. I get on my bus, and notice Nicole sitting near the back of the bus. I really would rather not sit next to her, but that is the only empty space. Besides, what would she say at my friend's table tommorow if I didn't?

For the entire bus journey, she stares out the window. She seems depressed, but why should I get involved? It's none of my business what goes on inside her head. When I notice that it is my bus stop next, I press the red button and rush to get off the bus. Let's hope I will never see her again.
