Awake And Alive

1st pov.
After awaking in the hospital I was shaken by Nezu walking in

"Good morning (Y/N) I've come to see how your feeling"

"give me a cup of tea and 5 mins to wake up and ill give u a straight answer," I say putting my head back down

"well get dressed you've got class, "nezu said

"ughhhh..." I say

"Jiro is waiting for u," he said with a sly smile

I shoot up and look him dead in the eyes

"and what does she have to do with anything?" I say trying to keep a neutral tone

"oh nothing," he says rolling on his heals "just I'm sure she'd be really worried if something else happened to if you didn't turn up," he says

"sly mouse," I say now already in uniform

He chuckles "there's a car outside let's get you checked out"

We do all the paperwork and on the ride over I got that tea I had asked for arriving at the classroom as was a few mins late so knocked on the door

As I opened it a saw everyone starting me

"what you didn't think I'd died did you?" I said walking to my seat

"Mr Aizawa comes in as a mummy and now Y/N is back god there so MANLY" Kirishima says smiling

"now we can get back to class and get started Mr Aizawa says as I glance at Jiro who looks over at me we both quickly look away and I start blushing lightly

*time skip brought to you by me not wanting to type our the plot*

At lunch, I was dragged to sit with Iida and Uraraka where I found out robocop was actually the brother of Ingenium and that's why he wants to be a hero and that Uraraka does it for the money... To help her family which is very admirable

"so Y/N why do you want to be a hero" Uraraka ask

I sat and let out a heavy sigh "I never really wanted to be a hero but as you all found out but are too polite to ask about Zelda my best friend and basically little sister always said I was her hero and that more heroes should be like me helping out the little people with nothing left like orphans. But I always figured I'd work in the shop I work now then become a manager when my boss retires. After she was... She was... "Jiro took hold of your hand making you jump a little "were here for you and we care about you take your time and if you feel like you want to cry we won't judge you" a said smile crept across your face
"After she was... Killed... I wanted to Avenger her. And that was originally why I started becoming a hero... As time went on a grew to see the injustice from heros... Some only care about money and who he's credit and I won't be able to change that. But I can become a hero that does go out and to the small things, that hero used to. Like community work and helping young children with nowhere to turn. As well as ofc taking down the bad guys when needed"

Jiro *still holding your hand* "wow... I never would have expected that from you that's really amazing (Y/N)"

"yh that's like mega cool (Y/N)" Uraraka said

"yes that is the essence of a true hero," Iida said. Moving his hand like a robot

"So Jiro what about you," I say still holding her hand

But as I ask the bell goes "we can talk about this later we have class"

As she gets up she starts walking basically dragging me with

"wow jiro weight up you dragging me," I say loudly causing a few people to turn especially one redhead

"I'm*sees she's still holding your hand and let's got to cover her blushing face*waaaas sorry," she says

I let out a small laugh "I was complaining don't worry just give me chance to react"

"you can literally pause time," she says her blush dieing down

"yh not like I can move it I can just check the menu screen"

"Ohh still!" she starts blushing again as we walk (not holding hands) to class

Class is finally over and as Uraraka opens the door there's a lot of people
Waiting outside our class after watching this purple-haired prick make a scene about us not being worth it and decide to speak up

"Not worthy?"
He looks at me with no emotion and bokuguo smirk a little
"Who the fuck are you to call is unworthy. You don't what happened in any of our life's to get us where we are but we made it. We all had the same exam we passed you failed. Going off that assuming your quirk doesn't help in a fight but neither does mine. Looking at you you look like you barely work out or know how to throw a punch did u expect you could just waltz in without trying? Get the fuck out my way because the only in worth person here is you" I said slamming my shoulder into him making him fall over
"I do that to anyone in the hero course they wouldn't fall over because they worked hard. You maybe prove yourself in sports festival but u need to start working on ur physical side quirks won't win you everything"
I say walking through the crowd that seem to part"

"GOD HE'S SO MANLY" I hear Kirishima yell as I just continue walking to work.

I check in with Curtis and did my shift till 11 where I helped him shut up shop before walking home guess its time to get ready for the sports festival

I'M SO SORRY about the wait and I'm so sorry it is short. I did want to go through and get shinso speech but I just don't have the time atm with Uni being as hard as it is.
