1st pov.
I wake up to the sound of a heart monitor beeping next to me... And something holding my hand I slowly open my eyes to see Jiro watching over me

"I've woke up to see worse," I say with a raspy tone. As she handed me a bottle of water

"I just wanted to be here when you woke up seeing as you saved me," she says crossing her arms

"I suppose I should thank u for keeping me company then I'm sure my..." I begin to say

"you don't need to keep up the act we all know about your past," she says looking at me I can't quite tell whether it's pain frustration sadness that's in her eyes but there's something in there

"ah well then," I say not sure what to say until the door burst open

"WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT MAKING ME WORRY" is all hear before being pulled into a hug by Curtis

"I, well, you see what had happened was," I say copying that really old show that was recent remade

"I don't wanna hear it I'm glad you're okay. I'm guessing you won't be having a shift for a little while. am I interrupting something" he says wiggling his eyebrows at me

"no I was just leaving," Jiro says getting up not even giving me a goodbye did I piss her off?

before Curtis can even use his charm to make her stay she's gone. then an unknown person walks in

"ah L/N good to your awake I have a few questions if your up for it?" he says pulling up a chair

After answering the basic questions and telling him what happened from my pov he says "and I believe you have a mask you can use to increase your power tell me about it?"

"its name is the Fierce Deity Mask but I have no real control over the power so I never use it. The same goes for my other Mask called Majors Mask" I say hoping this isn't leading to where I think it is

"well you did use it to almost kill someone," he says studying me. My mouth just drops in pure shock as Curtis looks at me in confinement

"well u didn't mention that when you described what happened," Curtis says looking at me

"I have no memory of it I remember it calling to me but that's it," I say slightly worried

The police fill me in on everything that momo and Jiro saw and what I did as I stare at my hands

"for yourself and everyone's safety you are required to hand over the masks" causing me and Curtis to look at each other

And laugh

The police officer however wasn't amused by this yelling and standing up "DO YOU THINK THIS IS A JOKE YOU PUT INNOCENT LIFE'S IN DANGER"

"Yes we've tried but there linked to him the minute you walk out the room they teleport back to his pocket there not going anywhere," Curtis says standing up matching the officer as they stare each other down

"Plus I wouldn't hand it over to the police anyway. Some government gets their hands on these and they would be turned into weapons these masks house the power of gods they would call out to people to use their power at least I can resist and somewhat control them" I say still laid down

The officer huffs and leave saying the interview is over

"well I've gotta get back to the cafe. Rest up that gunshot wound isn't going to heal its self. And the nurse says something about your body healing very minimally when the UA Nurse tried so stick to bed rest" he says waving as he leaves
