Stay safe <3

The night was as clear as a recently cleaned window, the starts illuminating the garden just enough for everyone to see each other if they went too far away from the little fire place.

Despite having met everyone years ago, I was still nervous as hell, not being able to stand still for a long time. God I had been waiting for this moment for months now, sometimes even dreaming about what could happen.

This was like a dream coming true.

I watched everyone laugh, some people were dancing around the fire, mostly the girls.
Sap was slowly walking towards me again, handing me a red cup filled with alcohol before letting his arm hang around my shoulder.

"This is awesome, dude! It still doesn't feel real to me" he laughed, the alcohol slowly having it's effect on his voice, words only sounding like slurred out mumbles.

I just nodded, not being able to stop smiling as I grabbed the cup. Sure, I had promised my mum to not drink anything since I was still too young for stuff like that, but it was just beer.

If we would've met up in Germany, it would've been just fine. So why not take the opportunity and have some fun?

"God it feels good to not only see you through a screen" I huffed, wrapping my arm around his shoulders as well. I had known Sap since my eleventh birthday but we never met up in person despite not living too far away from each other.

It was now his turn to nod, a stupid grin plastered onto his face. "I want us to remember this night till the end of our days! Now let's have fun!" he almost shouted before running towards the fire place, starting to dance around with one of the girls.

I just laughed, lifting the cup to my lips before letting the cold liquid run down my throat. This was my first time drinking if you didn't count the occasional sips of my mothers wine when she was in a good mood. And to be honest. I despised it. With that, my opinion was settled.

Beer tasted like a dog pissing into a can of expired water.

That didn't change the fact that I instantly refilled it though, the sensation of finally being able to drink alcohol and hopefully experience being tipsy for the first time making me giggle softly.

Let's have fun then.

I thought before following Sap, more and more people now starting to dance along to the endless songs that were playing through the speakers.

It was almost a miracle that nobody called the cops on us yet, the music probably being loud enough for people to hear it in England.

The thought made me stop dancing as a certain person crossed my mind for the first time this evening. Maybe I wasn't even drunk enough if I could even now remember him.

George.

He was still in England, not wanting to cross a whole ocean just to party for a weekend. I had really tried to persuade him, but nothing seemed to change his mind.

A part of me felt bad, knowing that most of his friends were meeting up while he was stuck in England, probably laying in bed with nothing to do except for playing Minecraft.
