Hunter, a young Prince (only 16) walks the castle grounds, running his hand along the Mossy stone wall surrounding his families castle. He sighs, it was his free-time and he felt he had nothing to do- he had already read and reread most of the books in the library, he didn't have any friends to talk to, and he didn't feel like training- and to make it all worse it was the perfect day to do something. He sighs, sliding down the brick wall. This was the most boring day ever-
"Hey cutie-" says a sly voice from above him.
"What the-" he looks up. At the top of the wall was a green-haired boy that looked about the same age as himself "that is no way to talk to the prince" Hunter huffs, standing up and dusting off his black pants.
Hunter would hate to admit it aloud but this boy was honestly very attractive. He had dark green hair, a beauty mark on his left cheek, and eyes the color of gold. He was dressed strangely formal for a villager but Hunter wasn't going to judge, his clothes looked nice.
"We're both humans, why should I talk to you any differently" the green haired boy hums in a smooth unwavering tone that still sounded a bit flirty.
Hunter rolls his eyes, this boy had no manners or respect "well, that's not the point I'm a royal-" the boy looks at him shrugging. Hunter sighs pinching his nose "what's your name?" He asks, annoyed.
"Ed," he says not skipping a single beat. Hunter thought the boy would be at least a little hesitant to give away personal information but then again he was a royal. "And what's yours cutie,?"
"Hunter" he rolls his eyes.
"So, Ed.. why are you trespassing on the grounds?" Hunter asks, placing his hands on his hips in a sassy manner. He stared at Ed expectantly.
Ed stands up starting to walk along the large stone wall "well, my family was actually formally invited here by the king so I'm not technically trespassing, but since you'd like to know so bad I was bored and I saw you outside so I decided to join you"
"My uncle did not inform me of visitors" the Golden haired prince states, crossing his arms and walking beside the wall with the prince. He looked at Ed suspiciously, not sure if he was lying or telling the truth.
"Ugh.. I really have to re-introduce myself for you to understand, don't I?" He groans obviously not pleased by Hunter's confusion "Good afternoon I'm Prince Edric Blight from Bonesborough" he says in an overly polite tone.
"You're a Blight?- but I've never heard of an Edric Blight" Hunter says, astonished. I mean his attire did makes sense now, the formal purple button up, the broach, the sword stuck in a hilt by his side.
"Huh- oh well me and my sister are a little over shadowed by our little sister Amity but we don't really mind. We're proud of our sister" Edric smiles running a hand through his hair.
"Wait there's another sister?" Hunter says honestly surprised. He had heard Amity and only Amity, he didn't even know there were other Bligt children.
"Yeah I have a twin, you'll probably meet her sooner or later" the other prince nods stopping to sit on the wall again, making Hunter come to an abrupt stop as well.
Hunter found this boy to be strangely endearing. Maybe it was because he treated him like a normal human and not a royal or maybe it was because he was an interesting person, but Hunter knew he wanted to keep talking to this mysterious prince.
