Chapter 4

Edric smiles, he could tell Hunter was blushing. It was funny watching him get all flustered because of a single flirty comment. He laughs quietly watching his new friend walk.

"What's so funny?" Hunter looks over tilting his head to one side like a curious puppy. 

"Nothing,I was just thinking" he shrugs playing off the laugh as a silly thought even though it was more of a laugh of admiration. He'd barely known this boy and he already felt as if he could trust him with anything. 

"Whatever you say.." he rolls his eyes, not believing Ed for one second. "so, how far is the village from here..?" 

Edric shrugs again "not far, we rode through it when we came here" he assures.

Hunter and Edric walk down the dirt path side by side. It was silent, not the awkward silence, the nice silence. The peaceful kind of silence. The two princes stay like that for a while, just enjoying the serenity of the moment. 

They walked for another few minutes before coming to the opening of the village

 "Here we are," Edric grins looking at Hunter "your village!"

"Woah.." Hunter mutters. Hunter beamed in pure awe from sight. He'd never been in a place with so many people in one place. Edric could Hunter was absolutely ecstatic.. it was adorable.
