Jimin, Namjoon, Jin, and Jhope were all there. They were there to bid goodbye to their old friends, Yoongi and Taehyung. They were dead, Yoongi sleeping peacefully and Taehyung lying right beside his favorite brother. Both happy

Or were they?

Were they happy to leave all their goals and ambitions just like that? I don't think so, it was the same when they killed Je Sun. No one desires death. It was him that sent them to it.

FLASHBACK

We stood there, watching our dear friends, lie there peacefully just like our childhood, will they remember how we used to lie under the banyan. Peacefully like how they are right now. Yoongi always ran ahead while Taehyung tried to catch up, pouring every ounce of his strength into his legs to try and catch up to him. we four used to sit there and watch this chase, every day. Every day Taehyung would try to catch up to Yoongi. He applied to the same high school, tried to top his entrance to get into the same university, and never took his path of life.

FLASHBACK ENDS

It would be only fair if they ran under the banyan forever now, in heaven.

3 pm. Dark skies and cold breezes, dry soil, and windy weather. It was going to rain as I stood there, people in black passed to and fro while I sat there staring at the wooden coffin. Holding an umbrella in my hand to catch all the tears coming my way. A few people weeping in the corners, distant from my place. Most young men standing respectfully holding their hands. Black suits and plain sorrow took over the graveyard for Yoongi and Taehyung's funeral. It had to be the most depressing afternoon of my life after my sister's death, the clouds barely holding their cries and the sun who himself had worn a black blanket took a part in the sadness.

The moment he tuned out the chattering and noise, Jhope noticed something right in front of him. What here came he to see.... the caskets. Good grief it was open, and their photos were placed in the middle of the flowers he would be able to see his friends one last time. Something he never really wanted to do, considering they weren't very close. On each side of the casket sat two large candles. Both were, of course, red. Above the casket were the roses brought from the house. And in the background, faintly playing, was a song Yoongi would play and Taehyung and Je sun will sing. Jhope hated that song because, whenever it was played the memories came with it. That night flashed in front of his eyes and he stumbled a little but still managed to walk and sit on the chair next to a weeping Jin.

Everyone went up and said their goodbyes to the open casket. Then they came back down to their seats. After all, was done, The caskets closed and pallbearers carried it on their shoulder to the hearse. We followed behind their families, then they reached the cemetery and slowly took out the coffins and placed it on the burial grounds. more tears were shed and they all cried. To watch their friends never speak again leaving nothing behind.

After the ceremony ended, people expressed their sorrows to the families and took their leave, slowly the number of attendees decreased until only the families and we were left. We as a group slowly walked towards them in the cold weather, Taehyung and Yoongi's mothers were still crying, Jin placed his hand on her shoulder and the woman's face slowly turned towards jin. "you guys should go home, it's cold outside, you might get ill" he said. She nodded her head and we took our leave as well.

On our way back everything was silent. The only audible noise was the car wheels and Jimin sobbing on Namjoon's shoulder while Jin was grooming Namjoon's head as a sign that things will be fine, all the while holding not letting the tears fall from his eyes as well. Upon entering the apartment, Jin took off his coat and went to his room after letting out a faint "Imma shower" from his wobbly lips. As Namjoon looked at Jhope and motioned his head towards the crying Jimin on the sofa. Telling him to stay with him while he goes and finds something to cook which will be impossible without Jin's help, he decided to just go into the kitchen to take out the ingredients, that Jin will need for the cooking. He opened the cupboard to take out a bowl so he could wash the vegetables when he saw Taehyung's "Squirrel trapped in a garden" sitting there doing nothing but still making Namjoon cry by re-living the memories of the past when they were cooking and the poor little Taetae didn't know how to cook so he made it and named it and would get happy whenever he saw it.

He was crying when he heard, "You saw it?" and he quickly wiped off his tears and turned around to see Jin standing there in his oversized Pink hoodie and his blue joggers. Slowly making his way towards Namjoon, he wrapped his arms around the younger and whispered "It's okay to not be okay, you can let it out" that's when he started crying, wailing, and complaining about how it's unfair for them to die when they had soo much to do with their lives.

After the cries stopped, Jin started patting his shoulders and caressing his head and said "Let's make something for the youngers to eat, hmm? They might be hungry after the painful event." Namjoon nodded using his palm to wipe his snout and tears and letting Jin go. "Go tell them to freshen up and wake Jimin." Once again Namjoon nodded and left the kitchen obeying his Hyung.

After waking Jimin and telling Jhope to go and have a bath, he started placing the plates and glasses on the dining table. And gave Jhope and It-will-be-okay smile when he entered the room and took his seat. After some time when everyone was settled Jin raised his glass of water for a toast and said "To Taehyung and Yoongi, our two sweet angels who passed away due to unfortunate events. They will be missed forever by our aching hearts. May they rest in peace, Amen." Everybody raised their glasses with their 'Amen' in their heart not finding the energy to say it out loud.

And hence, the dinner, the saddest and grieving dinner of their life started and ended when they said good night to each other after doing the dishes and cleaning the table, going to their rooms, switching off the lights, and lying on the bed without saying a word to any of them, because somewhere deep down in their hearts they know what everyone feels. They just hoped to fall asleep before they fall and break down, once again.
