When the familiar bond breaks

P.o.v past kasia 14 years old flash back 

They said I could be a witch. Wait but what about Johana?

“And Johana can be your familiar, Kasia,” a witch said.

I jumped up in the air and hugged Johana when I heard that. We were both so happy. 

“I'm your familiar. This is awesome, Kasia,” Johana said

 “You’ll both have to study a lot,” a different witch said. 

“Tiddly will teach you two everything about witches,” the same witch said. 

“Yes I will. Let’s go, you two,” Tiddly said.

End of flash back present kasia

I was sitting in the underground passageways under the library where I live. I suddenly get a flashback of Johanna and me getting told that I'm a witch and shes my familiar.

“That's odd,” Kasia thought to herself. 

I've never thought about her for years. Wait there's no way she couldn't have come here now. She never goes to the library. Kasia gets up and walks out of the passageways to the main library.

Johana p.o.v present 
I was driving to the library because Hilda said if she ever disappeared go there. She has a friend who’s a witch. I finally get there and bang on the doors. I probably sounded desperate, but my daughter just disappeared. Someone opened the door when I realized who it was. I had a shocked desperate look.

 “K… K… Kasia is that you,”' Johana asked.

 I wanted to hug her but I couldn't. Kasia looked just as shocked to see me.

Kasia p.o.v present
I was walking out of the passageways underground and I heard banging.

“Who could be banging this late? It’s not open hours. They sound desperate. I should check,” I thought.  

I headed to the doors and when I saw the person’s face. I freaked out and almost walked the other way. Is that Johana? 

“Shit, shit, shit!” I thought.

Then she said my name and I nearly died. Why here? Why now? Kasia was in her pjs and her hair was messy. She looked dead.

“Come in Johana. Why are you here?” Kasia said in a pained voice.

Third person narrator

Johana walked in the library. Kasia walked her to a table in the main area. 

“Explain. I know you. Why are you here? You wouldn’t come on your own,” said Kasia. 

Johanna looked at her and started to explain. “You see Hilda my daughter disappeared again and she said if both her and frida disappeared, come here no matter the time. So I did.”

Kasia looked shocked.

“I've known your daughter for years.”

 Jonana interrupted. “Yes, now do you think you can help me find them?”

“Yes but it's going to be hard to get to them. Once we broke our bond I swore I wouldn't use magic unless I needed it. And let’s just say Ahlberg probably took them. He was looking through books on how to capture witches and trolls,” Kasia said.

 Johana sighed and thought, “Ok. At least she knew where they are. But now, how to get to them and a plan?”

 Kasia looked at Johana worried.
