This is mainly a Jo x April fanfic, but Mal x Molly is mentioned enough to also be a ship here. This is based on Jo being dysphoric. Also want to make it clear I'm trans-FTM so if messed anything up I'm sorry. Please correct me and I’ll edit it but only do that if you're trans-mtf out of respect. Also, I will be adding a drawing I did at the end of some of the outfits mentioned in this fic. Enjoy, sorry if it’s not great. I literally started writing a couple of months ago.

Today was a free day like normal April woke everyone at the crack of dawn to their disapproval. 

“Morning guys wake up,” She said in a sing-song tone with way too much excitement for this early everyone thought.

Molly woke up looking a little annoyed but happy to not be shaken away by April. Mal woke up seconds later by Molly waking the sleeping girl with a gentle shake.

 “Mal, April wants us up,” Molly said.

 Mal woke up blushing. Normally Mal was holding Molly but Mal had an anxiety attack last night, Jo was still sleeping, Jen was up now Ripley was fast asleep covered in mountains of blankets with their feet out. Jo was also asleep fully under a blanket with her head under with one foot sticking out of the bed and one under her blanket. April went to Ripley first she didn’t wanna wake up Jo, she knew it was unfair to the others. But she knew Jo needed the extra sleep she’d been staying up all night for weeks and had eye bags. April was really worried, but Jo was also really pretty and cute so she couldn't wake her up. She began to shake Ripley. the others were glad that wasn't’ them, it's not fun to wake up to what feels like a mini earthquake. Ripley began to open her eyes, light shined, her face still being shaken, she groaned. 

“I’m up,” she yelled.

Jo moved a little

“shhh Apri,” l said.

 Ripely gave her a weird look then looked at Jo and went ohh, April nodded. 

“Why does Jo get to sleep,” Mal said.

 In her defense, she had a panic attack last night and still felt drained. Molly saw the tired and drained look on her face and read her like a book. She whispered in her ear you can sleep. I think April will understand. Mal nodded and laid back down on Molly. Molly smiled and blushed as she wrapped her arms around Mal's waist. Mal turned over so her head was on Molly’s chest and fell asleep soon after. April didn’t wake her; she knew what happened last night; everyone did, they were all worried. She’s pretty sure if she did Molly'd kill her. It was a free day so they could sleep. Ripley ran out to the arts and crafts cabin. Jen went out to run an activity. So the only ones left were asleep Mal. molly rubbing her back. April who was now sitting on Jo’s bed staring at the ceiling sometimes looking at jo she looked so pretty. She laid down on top of Jo and fell asleep later. She knew this was ok because they’d cuddled before. Later in the day, Jo woke up with April on top of her and her arms around the small girl she smiled blushing a deep shade of red. April looked so cute and small in her arms, though she knew how brave, feisty, and strong April was. Despite her small size and how cute she looked in Jo’s opinion. Jo always had feelings for the smaller redhead, well as long as she could remember she never acted on them scared she ruined their friendship, or maybe April didn’t like her back. who would shes trans not a real girl, no no no she knew April didn't mind that she saw her as a girl. So why did she think that I guess dysphoria just does that to you. She tried to focus on something else, she looked down at April smiling. She looked so cute sleeping she was obviously having a good dream because there was a small dopey grin on her face. Jo decided to let her sleep for a while, still feeling dysphoric and uncomfortable. Later April woke up and Jo was taken out of her uncomfortable thoughts. April sat up and so did Jo. April saw the sad look on his face and got worried.
