You stood there in amidst of the plains as your eyes and feet suddenly came to a halt, feet paralyzed as if there wouldn't be any movement how much you'll try and eyes bloodshot lingering ahead, at the so familiar place.

A cold night in the mid of March with a soft yet cold breeze ghosting your body. Every minute it passes by.

The sky was full of stars with a full moon shinning brighter and brighter as if trying to help you in the dark with its bluish light.
Your chapped lips part slowly releasing a soft gasp, as you take in the environment.

It was half past eight, as you analysed.
And the night was intense, thrilling not just because the cold weather was sending chills down your spine, but the sight in front of you. The large iron gates along with the cemented fence surrounding a particular piece of land.

The land which has devoured a lot of loved ones. The land which resembled Death. Yes you were in front of a graveyard.

You hated this place.

You hated it so much.

Though death is a universal truth. It's natural. A bitter truth, and nobody's going to be exempted. You knew it all.
You knew that in any form each and every soul will taste death.

But still you can't help yourself from hating it more and more.
Not when, it just snatched, one of the most precious gems from your life...

You clutch at the flowers in your hands lowering your gaze and your eyes slowly take in your own simple dress. A simple crop top and a short plated skirt.
You hold on your skirt tightly with your free hand and shut your eyes to get relieved.

Life was indeed hard.
And it was definitely playing tricks with you.
You had already lost so much in your life that now you just can't even imagine of more.
You even felt pity on you sometimes.
Tired, you were tired now.

A cold breeze swiftly ghosts your skin and you feel the hairs on your neck raise up. The thumping feeling of your heart slowly start getting its pace. Your breathe becoming irregular, with each passing second. And you try the best to maintain your calm.
The place was deserted not a single sign of any human. But you preferred it this way.
It was better isolated than filled with worthless people. You preferred loneliness.

You shoot open your eyes and watch your movements slowly approaching the graveyard. With calculated steps. And not a single sign of any hesitation or fear within your eyes.
You were calm now.

You push open the large iron gates in front as it opens with a cease noise. The too quiet atmosphere surrounds again after the noise and you take a step forward after a sigh.
The large trees at the corners were doing their great job in making the area look more horrible or haunted you say.
But were you afraid?
