friends?

I noticed Damon's voice kept getting higher. It reminded me of Niklaus, which terrified me. He keeps yelling at me to tell him why I'm so nervous, but I won't. Damon acting out of him being inpatient, he did something stupid.
           Damon vamp speeds to me and holds me against a wall. I couldn't breathe. "WHY!" Damon shouts. That is something Niklaus would say. "Damon.." I gasp trying to breathe. All of a sudden, I hear Damon in pain. Then I see what I was avoiding, Stefan. I didn't know what to do, the situation is awkward. "I think we need to talk." Stefan says calmly. You nod and he brings you up into his room to talk.
             Me and Stefan go up to his room and there is silence. We both didn't know what to say. "Ok this is awkward." Stefan says. "No we just don't know what to say-." I said trying to lie. Of course it is awkward. It is silent again but Stefan says something. "I know we loved eachother and I will have a special place for you always, but I don't feel that way about you." I sighed in relief. "I agree Stefan, it was 7 years ago, but friends?" I said. Stefan nods. "I never got to say sorry for what Klaus did to you." He says looking nervous, which confused me. "It's ok" I said in a sad tone. I change the subject. "So how has stuff been in the past 7 years!" He replies "good, I dated Elena but it just didn't work, and I got more muscular." He joked. "No you didn't." I said while laughing. I was about to leave but Stefan says something. "Hey Alex, do you want to come for dinner, everyone is going to be here and you should meet them." He hasn't called me Alex since before I fled town 7 years ago. Since I came back he has been calling me Alexandria. Now I really think me and Stefan will be good and not awkward. "Yeah!" I said smiling while I was walking out the front door.
