Chapter sixteen ~

The young man kept knocking on his dear friends door hoping to see it open.

But after 5 minutes, he was growing impatient.

"Scorpio! You can't hide forever!" Aries shouted as he started to knock more aggressively.

Scorpio, on the other side of the door, was covering his ears with pillows to block out the noise.

"Scorpio!!!" Aries shouted louder and Scorpio let out a big sigh.

He pulled the pillows away from his ears and got straight out of bed. He was wishing to stay in his bedroom all day to not see or speak to his father.

When Scorpio opened his door, he was met with a smirking Aries.

"The prince has finally heard my callings."

"Shut up."

"Come on, we have work to do." Aries informed him and Scorpio gave him a weirded look.

"Did my father promote you to leader?" Scorpio asked and Aries chuckles lightly.

"Nope. None of us has seen or spoken to your father since yesterday." Aries let out and Scorpio nods.

"My head hurts" Scorpio randomly spoke out.

"Mine too but you don't see me complaining, do you?"

Scorpio stopped moving and glared at his friend. That's when Aries remember he was speaking to Lord Ophiuchus's son.

"Oh did I offend you, your majesty?" Aries was about to knee down until he was interrupted.

"You're making my head hurt more. Call me prince or majesty one more time and you'll wish I stayed in that room." Scorpio snapped and Aries kept a quiet laugh to himself.

"Okay....sir"

"Aries"

"AHHHH"

"Hey."

She almost choked on air when he of all people welcomed her.

"Hey..." Virgo whispered as she wanted to quickly walk pass him to get to her room. He could sense her anxiety rise from where he stood.

He didn't remove his eyes from her as he spoke another word.

"Virgo."

No emotion in his voice made it impossible to tell what he wanted, but she wasn't a dumb girl.

She slowly stopped moving and turned her head to lock eyes with him. The color and mood of his eyes would usually make her feel calm and at peace, but she looks at him with stress and anxiety now.

"Yes?"

"I'm just curious if you knew where the others were yesterday. They aren't the type to just...leave, right?" He asked her knowing that she did have an answer.

"I actually am just as clueless as you are. You know how I was sent out to talk to Lord Ophiuchus?...while I was out, I didn't see any zodiacs." Virgo lied straight to her leader who only stared at her for a moment before responding.

"Ah alright."

"..."

"Well..well I'm off to my room. If you need anything, you know where to find me" Virgo told gently as she walked away and finally was able to breathe.

Capricorn watched as she left his sight. He took a deep breath.

"You aren't the lying type, Virgo"

Capricorn began walking towards a very familiar place, the kitchen.
