Not long after Silas' initial statement about the human test subject-thing, the frail looking black haired girl we know as Yuka stepped outside of the room she woke up in.

"Y-Yuka, wait. Where are you going?" Silas asked, trying to stop Yuka from leaving.

"I'm.. going to go look around. I'm not familiar with this place." She replied, somewhat confused as to what she'll actually do next.

"Wait, Yuka~. Do you want me to show you around? I'll introduce you to the others as well if you'd like!" Demeter pushed Silas out of the door frame, eagerly awaiting for Yuka's response.

"Er.. actually.. yes, please. I'd appreciate that a lot," Yuka replied rather timidly. It's likely she wouldn't have even tried to talk to the 'others' if it wasn't for Demeter's offer.

"Teehee, alright then, let's head off." Demeter smiled.

"Oh, um, right, Yuka, would you mind coming back here afterwards?" Silas spoke as he finally gets out of the door frame.

"Will do." Yuka replied before being dragged away by Demeter.

"Alright, don't forget!" Silas yelled a bit, afraid they wouldn't hear him.

The old building they were in felt off. If you tried to listen to the ambience, you might feel as if some people are talking. However, there was no one there, and no time to eavesdrop on the conversations, as the blonde haired girl dragged Yuka away to show her around...

The two keep walking around, trying to see if there's anyone around. Eventually, they reach the end of the hallway of the 3rd floor, near the stairs.

"Demeter!" A voice called out.

"Oh, Reagan!" Demeter called out back to the voice, smiling, all while she drags Yuka to the familiar looking man.

The man glanced at Yuka, seeming incredibly glad, seeing the black haired girl alongside his friend.

"Oh.. oh! You're the person me and Inigo found, right? I'm truly glad you're alright," he spoke, smiling. You could really tell he really was relieved.

"Huh?" Yuka replied, somewhat confused as to what he meant.

"Sorry, did Silas not tell you about that yet? Would you mind if I filled you in on the details?" He spoke, wanting to explain the 'circumstances' Silas told her about.

"Reagan, I think she's still a little bit shocked right now..." Demeter cuts, as her face reads 'not now.'

"No, it's okay, you can tell me."

"Alright.. where should I start... Wait, no, my apologies, I haven't actually introduced myself yet, haven't I?" He ruffles his hair for a bit realizing his mistake.

"I'm Reagan Prince Alven. Please just call me Reagan. I'm a sub-captain, otherwise known as a specialist."

"I'm Yuka. You said you found me..?" She asks, a confused look plastered all over her face.

"Yes, me and Inigo found you unconscious in an abandoned government facility." Reagan replied, a bit worried as to how Yuka would react to this information.

"That's... Yikes." Yuka spoke in slight disgust.

"I should've known they're too good to be trusted." She added, sighing. However, despite how awful this information was, she doesn't seem to be too concerned about it.

"I'm.. truly sorry you had to go through that." Reagan added, his yellow eyes showing how upset he looks.

"It's fine, I should've expected it." Yuka replied, her hand on Reagan's shoulder.

The three walk around the 3rd floor once more, attempting to find other people. Eventually, they give up, and they walk to the room from before.

"Geez, couldn't you guys pick up the pace or something?" Silas complained, opening the room door lazily.

"Sorry, Silas. We were showing Yuka around the base." Reagan replied, shaking his head slightly.

"It's fine. C'mon, I have to brief Yuka on the thing we're going to do in about 15 minutes." Silas gestures for them to enter the room.

"What did you need, Silas?" Yuka asks, a bit confused. She sits down on the table nearby after Reagan and Demeter does.

"Okay. Here's the thing, Yuka... We're under-armed. We need more people on the team, and I'm afraid you're going to have to get your hands dirty from today on. We have weapons crafted by my- a, ahem, a late engineer we knew, but it's not enough to combat the machines the government has. You understand what the government is capable of." Silas spoke, his hands on the table. Infront of him is a map of an unfamiliar city.

"Wait, what?"

"You're going to have to help us out. I'm sorry." Silas replies, before finally sitting down on a nearby chair.

"... That's okay. I figured I'd have to help sooner or later,"

"What do I have to do?"

"Do you have anything that might be an 'asset' to you? Like, in a war?" Silas asks softly.

"I think I'm good at tactics. My fighting skills aren't the best, though."

"Okay. That's good. Real good, I think." Silas answers. He gets up from his chair, and walks torwards the board a couple of meters away from the table.

"Let's pack it up for now. I need to brief my brother on what I'd like to do next." Silas looks back at the table that's now behind him, and starts fiddling around with the pins on the board.

"With Inigo? What are you going to brief him on?" Demeter responds as she gets up from her chair.

"A mock battle. I'd like to see if Yuka can replace Inigo's position as the pseudo-tactician."
