Who are they?

"Girl, what's up with that face? It's only the beginning of the day, yet you already seem fatigued,"

Nayeon had just arrived at school and believed she was already late, which is why she didn't have enough time to put on make-up. She just had time to brush her hair as she boarded the bus.

"Are you okay? It's my first time seeing you with those eyes, and you look so exhausted," Jihyo said. Jennie only stared at her buddy, waiting for her to respond.

She suspected her mother was to cause for Nayeon's appearance.

Nayeon is currently in a state of disarray. She's been having strange dreams all night, and they keep waking her up early in the morning, and she can't get back to sleep because her mind can't stop thinking about it.

Because her friends were questioning what happened to her, her dream from the night before flashed through her thoughts again, which is why she yanked her hair in irritation.

"Argh!"

"What's wrong, Nayeon-ah? Are you okay?" Jennie inquires, concerned.

Nayeon's friend's eyes are filled with concern.

"Do you want us to take you to the clinic? You don't seem well," Sana said, and the two agreed.

Nayeon's skin is pale, she has apparent black eye bags, and she has dry lips, which makes her friends concerned.

"I-I'm OK; it's just that something has been occurring on me every night recently," Nayeon stated.

"Drink this, you seem dehydrated," Jihyo said as she opened the bottle of water and handed it to Nayeon. The latter readily accepts and consumes it.

"What is it? Insomnia?" Jihyo inquires, and Nayeon shakes her head. She returned the bottled water to Jihyo.

Jennie assumed that Nayeon's mother's illness was the cause of her behavior, but it appears that this is not the case. She suspects Nayeon is withholding information from her.

"Don't worry, ladies, I'm alright," she said.

"Use this to make your lips redder, you're pale," Jennie said as she handed Nayeon her lip color. The state of Nayeon's health concerns her.

The ringing of the bell signals the start of lessons. The girl friends parted ways and went to their own departments. Someone brushes into Nayeon as she walks silently to her classroom, and she isn't in the mood to start a fight right now, so she just ignores it.

Bambam notices that Nayeon is still not looking at him after he bumps her shoulder, so he bumps it again, but the latter does not bother to glance at her.

"Yah, Nayeon-ah," Bambam said, but Nayeon continued to ignore him, which upset him. Nayeon does not normally behave in this manner.

Bambam planned to stop in the center of their room's door to block Nayeon's path. He expected Nayeon to yell at him, but what she did surprised him.

"Excuse me," Bambam said, his jaw dropped at what he had heard. "Please," Nayeon said, which surprised him even more.

Is this the real Nayeon? Bambam paused.

Bambam just stepped aside, allowing Nayeon to enter and join her at their seat.

What exactly is going on? He inquires of himself.

She decided to face Nayeon because their professor had yet to appear. He was taken aback by Nayeon's behavior.

"Nayeon-ah, are you okay? You seem sick," Bambam inquires as he approaches Nayeon. Her skin is pale, and she appears to be sleep deprived. He suspects something is awry because Nayeon never goes to school without her make-up on.
