Mother

The whole ride became silent for the whole group. They got tired of the long ride to the rural area. Nayeon whose sitting on the passenger seat silently looking outside of the window. Her mind is full of thoughts about what the old man said to her.

She knows that the old man must be mistaken with her to someone but her mind can't stop thinking about his stories. He talks comfortably to her as if she's really related to the late mayor he is talking about.

The car stops when the traffic light switch to red. Jihyo has been noticing Nayeon looking outside and spacing out with her thoughts.

"Are you ok?" She ask as she hold Nayeon's hand.

Nayeon got startled.

"A-ah yeah," She answered in a low voice.

"You sure?"

"Yes," Nayeon give her friend a smile to stop her from worrying.

"I know your still thinking about what happened awhile ago,"

Nayeon sigh. Her friend caught her again, she can't really hide anything from them. They know her all to well.

"You I just can't-- argh. It's just bothering me. It's just like making me interested to know more about that late mayor that the old man is talking about,"

"I thought you know that he just mistaken you as the other person. Even her daughter admit it," Jihyo tried her best to make her friend feel better. There's so much things happening on Nayeon's life now and she didn't want to add this thing.

The traffic light turns back to green again and Jihyo focus back on the road same with Nayeon who's looking back outside the window again.

After a long ride Nayeon saw herself standing infront of their home's front gate. She didn't know what gotten into her mind and she ask Jihyo to drop her at their house.

She's now hesitating whether she'll enter the house or not. She's been outside the house for 20 mins staring at the huge gate infront of her.

"Aish what gotten into me," Nayeon whispered to herself.

She was about to walk away when she heard the gate open. Hearing the sound of a car engine someone is about to go out and unluckily caught her.

Nayeon take a deep breath as she close her eyes.

Stupid Nayeon.

"Oh Nayeonie your here," Suzy said as she went out of her car.

"You just got on the right time. I was about to go out. I have meeting with my agency. I'll tell dad that he didn't need to have an early leave," Suzy said happily. Seeing her sister came all by herself make her proud.

She believes that Nayeon still care about their mother just like how she was before. Family still has a soft spot on Nayeon's heart.

While Nayeon on the other hand regretting her life decisions.

Why on Earth did I ask Jihyo to drop me here?!

"Come on in, I'm sure mom will be happy to see you,"

Suzy drag her sister inside their house. Nayeon just let herself being pulled by her annoying sister.

"These are mom's medication it already has label on how much she will take and on what time. I already cook for dinner when mom awakens feed her right away and and take this medicine," Suzy said that only annoyed Nayeon, as usuall.

Suzy notice her sister roll eyes.

"Are you even listening Im Nayeon?" Suzy raise her left eyebrow to Nayeon
