Leveling Up|New Comers

As I'm walking down the road it's completely silent.

Charlie: Hey S1 do I have a map I can pull up or something?

S1: Yes but you have to get your observe skill to level 5.

Charlie: How do I get it to level 5?

S1: You observe shit dumbass.

I groan and look around me. Trees, birds, clouds. As I'm observing everything I hear shouts from a distance.

I summon my holsters and take my guns out at the ready. I decide to take a decor in the trees to my right. I keep walking in the direction of the shouts until I see the same 2 girls from the gas station and their truck, except they're 4 men pointing guns at them. But I could have sworn there were 3.

Man 1: Give is your shit and maybe we'll let you go.

Man 2: But not before we have some fun.

I internally gag hearing that and get a better look at them. One guy had black hair and a pointy nose, Second guy had brown hair with a beard, Third guy had blonde hair and looked his 20's, And the last guy had dark blonde hair, kinda similar to the other blonde except he looked a bit younger. Probably siblings.

I then get a notification.

Charlie: Now is not the time.

I then take a good look at their weapons. The older blonde has a hand gun and a combat knife. Young blondes has an assault rifle, how he got that is beyond me. The black haired on had a hand gun and the last one had a crossbow.

I let out a sigh knowing I'm going to have to help them. I'll cause a distraction. I set up a plan in my head and I was ready to go through with it. But before I could do anything old blonde grabbed one of the girls and began to drag her into the trees.

Charlie: I need to do this now!

I then throw a rock at the back of one of their heads. They look in my direction and slowly move towards me. I climb up the tree and hop from tree to tree getting to the other girl. When I get there I see the guy pin her stomach against the tree and undo his belt.

I grit my teeth together and hop onto the guys shoulders twisting his neck on his way to the ground. I turn to the girl to see a horrified but grateful look in her eyes.

Charlie: Shhh... I'm not gonna hurt you.

I reach my hand towards her and she slowly grabs it. I pull her back to the road but stop at the tree line.

Charlie: Stay here. I'll help your friend.

I crouch down and silently move out of the tree line and towards the truck.

I then stand up and shoot one of them in the head, alerting the other two of my presence. They began to shoot at me but I had ducked down quick enough, causing them to hit the truck.

Young Blonde: Come out you bitch!

I smirked at that and rolled from behind the car and shot him in the chest, his finger squeezes the trigger allowing bullets to go off. The last guy manages to shoot me in my left arm.

Charlie: You Dick!

I then shoot him in both of his arms and falls to the ground. I then walk up to him and shoot him in his face with a look of horror in his eyes.

The young blonde begins to stand up except bit in a non-humane way. He stands up and sprints towards me as he tries to bite me. He manages to knock me over causing us both to fall, taking multiple snaps at my face, trying to bite me.

I manage to get my gun under his chin and pull the trigger. The bullet goes straight through its head and he goes limp on top of me. I try to get him off but a shock of pain floods through my arm when I try to lift it.

Charlie: A little help would suffice.

They both just stare at me as if I'm crazy, like I didn't just save their asses from getting raped. I groan and push him off with my good arm.

I then stand up and put my right hand in my pocket pretending to take an hp potion from the inside. I pull off the top with my teeth and drink it's contents. I feel a warm sensation flood through my body and watch the wound on my seal up as the bullet falls out.

Their eyes widened at the bottle and stare as if they've seen a ghost.

Girl 1: H-how did you...?

Charlie: None of your business, now if you'll excuse me I have shit to get down and sorry about the car take this as an apology gift.

I hand them the bag on my back filled with food and water.

Girl 1: Are you sure?

I nod and continue down the road not noticing them following me. When I turn my head I see them walking by side.

Charlie: What are you doing?

I stop in my tracks and stare at them.

Girl 1: We're coming with you.

I just ball out laughing not realizing the seriousness in her voice. I stop laughing when I notice she's dead ass.

Charlie: Come on seriously. Your not coming with me.

Girl 2: Come on Kasey lets just go.

Kasey: No lina, she saved us the least we could do is pay her back.

I groan whilst rubbing my temples knowing she's not gonna leave me alone.

Charlie: Fine you can come but there's a few things you should know before we continue. First off my name is Charlie, secondly you do anything that causes me to lose trust in you you're dead, and lastly magic is real.

I continue to walk while they are laughing like crazy. I sigh and summon fire in the palm of my hand.

Charlie: Believe me now.

I smirk at the shocked expressions on their faces and continue down the road.

Charlie: Keep up or I'm going to leave you behind.

They rush towards me and begin walking at my side.

A few hours of walking in the forest I finally managed to find a cave.

Kasey: What is it we're looking for again?

Charlie: S1 what does it even look like anyway?

S1: Like a sunflower seed except it's hairy and hangs on vines in groups, kinda like hairy sunflower seed sized, grapes.

Charlie: Hairy grapes.

They looked at me in disgust and confusion.

Charlie: It's for a potion alright now lets go.

They nod still unsure and follow me into the dark hole.
