❤Chapter 5❤

Gray's POV-

The next few days went relatively smooth. The nightmares haven't stopped but his memory has gotten a bit better saying things seem familiar or getting a feeling of deja vu when he did certain things. Although in complete honesty, as happy as I am he's healing well and is starting to remember a bit, this is killing me. You might be misunderstanding me here, I don't mean it literally or as in if I do this anymore I'm gonna kill something. I'm frustrated, not with Natsu, but with myself. I can't bring myself to make any kind of move. I'm sexually frustrated because it's so easy for him to give me a boner; and last night while I was calming him down from a nightmare and had him on my lap, and he even put on those big adorable doe eyes and said with complete innocence "Something hard is poking me..." Honestly it made it worse. 

I know I can't do anything because of what happened, I definitely don't want those memories coming back anymore than they already are. He stopped stuttering, around me(EGO BOOSTER!), and doesn't flinch when I touch him, it seems like I'm still the only one he's even remotely comfortable to be around. We're going to the guild next week to see everyone, and I'm hoping Loke doesn't show up again. If he tries flirting with MY Natsu again he's going to end up getting the shit beaten out of him. He also seems to have an OBSESSION with chocolate chip cookies, which is cute and all, but costly. Thank Kami(God) that we're going on jobs again next week or I'll go broke. 

Natsu shuffled next to me, groaning a bit before opening his eyes. I could feel my cheeks getting warm as he rubbed his eyes. He still wears the shirt I gave him to bed, he looks absolutely adorable in it. He stretched his arms and looked to me and grinned widely. This was pretty much how every morning has gone. We we're consumed in a comfortable silence, which is broken by Natsu saying good morning to me, then heading down stairs to eat. Today we would be heading down to the guild again, to see Porlyusica and Gramps, to check up on Natsu. I've been helping him clean the wounds everyday and replace the bandages after, careful not to mess with his stitches; which will hopefully be taken out soon. Natsu isn't too happy about seeing Porlyusica again, 'She's crazy' he says. Enough to earn a chuckle from me. "Oh Natsu Erza says she wants to see you after your check up." I called to him from the kitchen, I glanced at him. He seemed frozen before snapping out of it, with a confused look on his face. 

"O-okay..." His confused look stayed while he tried to figure something out in his head. 

"What's up? Remember something?" I said bluntly. He looked up at me.

"I...I don't know." He said softly. "I guess we'll find out later!" he said flashing a beautiful smile, light pink on his cheeks.

"Go get dressed we have to go." He smiled again, and hugged me, catching me by surprise. I blushed and hugged his smaller figure back. We pulled away and he smiled wider before running off to go change.

Natsu's POV-(little Fanboy mode)

Oh my GOD! I just hugged Gray! And HE hugged me BACK! YES!  I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. It made me so happy when he hugged me back. The blush didn't leave my cheeks either. I changed into my clothes, which were still a bit too big from the weight I lost. I fixed my muffler and went back downstairs to see Gray at the door. "Okay! Let's go!" I said cheerfully. I grabbed his hand, hiding my blushing face from him and dragged him out the door. As soon as we were outside I got quiet, only Gray could see that side of me. I don't know who else I can trust...

Gray's POV-

The check up went smoothly and his stitches will be coming out in a few more days. Both Porlyusica and Gramps said I was doing a good job helping him, which boost my ego a bit. I got a bit cocky, but only a bit. He doesn't need the pills for his malnutrition anymore, as long as he keeps eating good. He's capable of eating normal sized portions now. They said his nightmares would only go away when he's faced what's causing them. Which scares me. In his current state he wouldn't so anything like that. He would before any of this happened though. We got the okay to leave, and immediately after leaving the infirmary we were confronted by Erza. Natsu let out a cute squeak and hid behind me. He either remembered how scary this lady is, or is just extremely uncomfortable, though I'm betting on the latter.
