❤️Chapter 7❤️

Last time-

"I don't care." Gray growled again and the door slammed shut. I saw Gray's muscular figure walk back into the kitchen, he sighed and walked over to me. He sat in his chair, facing me, and looked me in the eyes. " Listen, Natsu... I want to ask you something. I don't want you to think I'm taking advantage or anything like that. each word I say is 110% true. Do you trust me?"

"Yes." there was no hesitation from me, but I didn't understand how I trusted him so much despite remembering parts of our recent past.

"Okay, here it goes..." he swallowed and took a breath. " I-...."

Now-
Natsu POV

"I..." Gray paused and looked me directly in the eyes. I could see beads of sweat on his head and worry in his eyes. A million situations compiled in my head. What could he be so nervous about? "I wanted to know if you..." he paused again, this time avoiding my gaze. "If you would..." I was having a strange sense of déjà vi and my eyes snapped closed as I relived another event from Gray and my past.

No POV FLASHBACK

A small pink haired boy slowly stumbled towards the older raven. His face was red and he was twiddling his thumbs in nervousness. "Hey, G-gray?" His voice was small and shaky. The mostly nude boy turned to his junior waiting. "Ano, I was wondering i-if you'd um... " the younger paused. The older's eyes showed hope, pink lightly coating the 12 year olds cheeks. " if you'd like to spar with me...?" The Ravens face fell.

"Um sure Natsu." his voice was monotone and slightly sad to Natsu, but he didn't know why. He wanted to lighten the mood.

Natsu smiled widely at Gray, a tinge of pink on his cheeks. "Yay! Let's go." Gray's cheeks turned pink as well as he followed the younger boy and smiled. 'It was stupid to think Natsu would ask something like that, he's too innocent to think that way' Gray thought as they practiced their magic, sparing and showing off.

Gray's POV Real world

I was too nervous to speak, only getting bits of sentenced out at a time. His eyes clouded over and I realized he was having a flashback. His eyes opened after a moment, brilliant green eyes looked up at me. "What did you remember?" I asked taking my mind off of my other question.

"We were young and I was nervous asking you to spar, I was stuttering and blushing, you were too. I finally got my words out but you looked disappointed. I smiled and you started blushing too and we practiced our magic. Your ice magic, and my fire magic." Natsu explained his memory, and smiled at me. Kami, he's so cute. Magic. That gave me an idea, and him one too from the looks of it. He looked at me holding cupped hands in front of him self, a magic circle appearing at his feet. In his hands the flames formed a heart, before quickly fading away. I wasn't even sure I'd seen it. He was blushing. "I have control again." He whispered happily. I too used my magic. Quietly muttering what I wanted to create, I placed my fist in my palm and created a rose and a heart. I charmed them and handed them over to my pinkette. He looked at the items and blushed, standing on his toes he kissed my cheek. I blushed harder. Once again holding out his hand the flames spelt out 'yes' His face was beet red. On the inside of the heart I inscribed the original question I'd intended to ask. 'Will you go out with me?' I smiled, picked him up and spun in a circle. Pecking his cheek. He giggled and pecked my lips. It was then that I noticed that the tiny magic circle on his neck was visible again. I'd almost forgotten about it. It seemed smaller now, thinking about it, it might've been there when he had the flashback.

"Ne, Natsu. Tomorrow we are going to the guild." he just nodded as a loud noise erupted from his stomach. I smiled as we went to the kitchen to get food. Still happy he said yes.

omg I'm so sorry I thought I posted this on Sunday!!!!!!!!

There it is guys, I'm done with schedules but expect the chapters every other week or so if not then maybe every three weeks. I don't know I tried updating this on Sundays and heat on Fridays but idk I'll keep trying. Sorry this is so short!!
