Chapter 1

Zzzz zzzzz

My phone rang and that means i have to wake up. I sat on my bed and started thinking, i do it every morning before i got up. It's my first day at my new school. I'm really scared and nervous. What if people won't like me? What if i'll embarrass myself? I started to worry.

Anyways now i really have to get out off bed. I went to my bathroom. Yes i have my own and i found it cool, at least i have more privacy.

I did my skin care routine and did my makeup. I put on some concealer, cause sadly i don't have clear skin. I also put on my eyeliners which i did small and a mascara.

I went downstairs to have my breakfast. I don't like eating much in the morning. I took just some banana and went to my brother's bedroom upstairs. He was laying in his bed still sleeping so i just closed the door.

Soon after that i heard some sounds and saw my parents going down the stairs. I greeted with them.

Mom:good morning honey, did you sleep well?
Me: Good morning, yes i did, thanks.

I said and smiled. My dad came to kitchen too and came to me. He kissed me on forehead.

Dad: Good morning.
Me:Good morning dad.

My brother came to the kitchen too and he said Good morning to everyone. We all sat to the table and started talking.

Me: So, children, how are you feeling about your first day at school?
Isak:Umm i think it'll be good i guess.

My brother said. Well he was always one of the cool guys and everyone liked him. He has nothing to be worried about. The complete opposite of me.

Mom:And what about you darling?

Mom turned to me.

Me: well i'm kinda nervous and scared. I'm scared no one will like me and yeah.
Mom: Don't worry, everything will go fine. I'll go with you to your principal.
Me: okay.

I hope my mom is right. I'm glad she'll go with me, but still after that she'll leave and i'll have to be by myself.

I'm sitting in a car with my mom and my two brothers. By every second we're getting close to school i'm getting more and more nervous. And without realizing it, we're already standing in front of the school.

I get out of the car and looked at the school properly. It's a big school, which means a lot of people. Omg.

We went in. My brother went to other side and me and my mom went to my principal.

He was really nice and i'm glad for that. I calmed a little. My mom sadly left so now i'm with principal and we're heading to my first class. He went in first and said something to the teacher. And he told me to come in.

I went in and i started shaking cause suddenly all eyes were on me.

Principal: i'll leave you now. Bye.

Principal said and all the children stand up and then sit again. And of course all eyes were on me then.

Teacher: So, you're Samantha right?
I nodded.
Teacher: tell us something about you then.
Ugh i hate this, okay calm down you can do this.
Me: Well hi, umm i'm Samantha and i moved there from Oslo. I'm 17 and i like to dance and sing.
I said and looked at the teacher.
Teacher: Okay, you can sit, sit there with Martinus.
She said and pointed at the boy. He looks really nice and also cute. I went and sat next to him. He smiled and i smiled back.
Me:Hi
I whispered
Martinus:Hey.

It's the end of the class. We had Math and well i really hate Math and i suck in it. But what i do really good is English and biology. I love those subjects.

Martinus: I saw you're not so good in Math.
Me: Well, you saw well cause i really suck in it.
Martinus: if you want i can tutor you.
Wait... Did he really said that he can tutor me. Omg i didn't know i will make friends so fast. Okay Sophie, calm down, he isn't your friend. But maybe he'll be.
Me: Really?! That would be great, it will really help me.
Martinus: of course. Well what about start today after school?
Me: that's great, thank you.
I said and smiled at him.

I saw some group of boys looking at us and wishpering. One of them looked really familar to Martinus. I got really uncomfortable so i went to bathroom.

When I was in there i pumped into a girl.
Me: I'm really sorry.
I said and looked at her. She smiled
Her: it's totally okay, you're new here right?
Me: Yes, I am.
Her: oh okay, i'm Madison btw.
Me: I'm Sophie.
I gave her a handshake and we both smiled.
Madison: I'll see you around, i gotta go to my class.
Me:Okay,see ya.
