Alex wakes up drenched in sweat he eyes a dark green as he sits up he shakes out his shaggy black hair trying to shake the nightmare from his head. He looks at the other bed making sure he didn't wake up Melinda. She thought his nightmares have gone along time ago with years of being accepted into the pack but they haven't sometimes I get dreamless night but they're rare.i get up deciding to take a shower to get the day started I look at my phone it's only 5:30 I sigh grabbing clothes quietly going into the bathroom turning the water I let the water drip from my hair down my body for a while just sitting there thinking about what Melinda was saying over dinner. What if my mate rejects me hell if I were my mate I would reject me who let's they're family die right in front of them I can still hear their screams. I shiver slightly and I notice the waters cold how long have I been in here I turn the water off getting out and drying off and getting dressed and walk back into the bedroom and the sun is shining through the window and Melinda is up and dressed doing her makeup she smiles when I walk out and it causes me to smile slightly "morning Mel" she smiles brightly "morning Alex you excited for today" she asks and I nod quietly "yeah I've been trying to figure out what it could be" she giggles slightly "where would the fun be if I just told you" I shrug "there wouldn't be I'm guessing" I say bluntly trying not to laugh failing miserably she laughs with me "okay okay come on we got to get a move on soon if you still want breakfast" she says simply as she starts packing her bag back up "why didn't you say so" I say quickly packing my bag again putting on a hoodie and putting my phone and wallet in my jean pocket. "Let's go" I say excitedly throwing a beanie on top of my messy hair she giggles grabbing her purse and her bag walking out of the hotel with me and we stop at McDonald's for breakfast. And then we're back on the road I end up falling back asleep after eating sleeping until the road gets rough and bumpy and it stop I open my eyes looking at a forest line off the side of a highway "where are we Mel" I ask quietly as I sniff the air and something about it was making my wolf antsy and I couldn't figure out why "Alex this is the blue moon pack territory at least what it used to be it's packless territory now no man's land" she says softly and I look at her my eyes a bright blue "I wanted to show you where you came from maybe we can find some stuff of your families here you can see where you came from" she says gently putting her hand on my shoulder and I smile slightly my eyes tearing up "thanks Mel" I say my voice cracking I clear my throat slightly "so what are we waiting for" I say excitedly getting out of the car taking my hoodie and shoes off shifting to my wolf my eyes going a bright gold ~lets go vlad~ I say to my wolf happily as I take off running straight to the treeline running past them until I come to a big clearing with houses and stores littered around the foliage taking over some of the building then I smell the best in the world it smelt like vanilla and strawberries but it was mixed with the smell of ash my wolf howls in my head ~follow it Alex~ he says happily and I sniff again trying to pin point the smell but it was everywhere until I focus hard and found the one that smelt most recent and start running towards it as fast as I can when it gets stronger I slow down still not sure what Im running to it leads to a small house covered in vines and moss whatever it is it's in there I crawled through a small opening sniffing still following the scent going to a back room and I see an all white wolf with a small bit of black on its left ear and tip of the tail. The wolf was about half the size of mine. The smell was definitely coming from it what was it doing out here it was just sleeping peacefully like it didn't have a care in the world what the hell I tilt my head curiously Vlad and mys Golden eyes just start the wolf ~wake her alex~ vlads voice fills my head he sounds excited what is going on with him but I take his advice and growl lowly making the wolf stand growling and her hazel eyes stare into mine and it all clicks as Vlad yips happily ~Mate mate mate ~he repeats happily and she whimpers backing up slightly bowing her head what the hell I whimper slightly feeling hurt as my eyes go to a dark blue and I lay down trying not to scare her as I crawl on my belly getting closer as she tries to back up further and I whimper again and yip softly before getting close enough and I like her cheek softly nuzzling her neck breathing in her scent and like that we stayed for what felt like forever before melindas voice filled my head oh crap she's gonna kill me for running off I nudge my mate for her to follow me and she does so reluctantly and I smile softly she trust me a little I lead her back the way I came and Melinda came over to me as so as she saw me but when she noticed I had company she stops "Alex who's this" ~Mate~ Vlad answers before I'm able to stop him Mel smiles happily before setting the clothes she had for me down and jogs back to the car coming back with a pair of her own "her you go sweetheart" she says softly putting the clothes near my mate I shift back quickly getting dressed and I walk toward my mate "can you shift back for me love" I ask softly as I stroke her fur softly and I hear her wolf purr slightly before she grabs the clothes in her mouth walking behinds some of the trees and Vlad whines slightly watching his mate walk away from him a few minutes later a small pale brunette with hazel eyes walks out from the trees her hair messy but went down to her waist none the less the clothes were big on her you could tell she hasn't eaten a proper meal in awhile I sigh sadly my poor mate what was she doing out here by herself I think sadly and Vlad whimpers as she walks back to me and Melinda and I hug her to me as soon as she's in arms reach she blushes and it makes me smile "what's your name love" I ask softly "r-raven" she says shakily she probably hasn't spoken in human form in awhile "I'm Alexander" I say softly kissing her head softly "what were you doing out here by yourself raven" Melinda asks bluntly looking at Raven curiously "I used to belong to a pack here my whole family did I'm the only one that survived when rouges came and overran the pack the alphas mate used to be a rouge and in that time she made alot of enemies one of them being an alpha rouge he thought if he couldn't have her no one could and anyone that got in his way was killed my mom hid me before they went to go fight with the pack I've been here ever since." She says explaining it quietly as tears start to stream down her face I hug her to me tightly "shhhh baby it's okay I got you I will protect you I'm not going to let anything happen to you" I say softly trying to calm her gently rubbing her back she calms down after awhile and looks up to me "why are you out here?" I freeze slightly "what what's the Luna's name?" I ask slowly "rosemary Winchester" she says softly and my face goes pale "t-the Luna lived past that day" I say sadly "how do you know that" she ask kinda of defensively "s-she was my m-mother" Alex say holding his necklace tightly
