Kenma's POV :

-after the fireworks-

Akaashi just left with Bokuto, he's gonna walk him home. Kuroo is walking me home.

"And your favorite song?" He asks tip toe-ing on the sidewalk like a toddler. I let out an amused chuckle.

"House Of memories" I answer looking up at the sky, counting the stars.

"Your favorite food?"

"Apple pie" he turns his head to look at me with a smirk.

"That's what we ate the first time we hanged out." He notices as I nod. "Your favorite book?"

I scoff. "I don't love to read, but if I had to pick one it would be... pride and prejudice."

"Why that one?" He asks curiously.

"It was my moms favorite, basically grew up with it." I look back up at the sky with a feeling of grief at the back of my mind.

We continued walking until the studio pulled up.

"Goodnight Kenma, or should I say baby." He rubbed his nose against mine as I blushed. Thankfully it was to dark for him to notice.

"Whatever, are we hanging out tomorrow?" I ask hopefully.

"Sure baby, if you want..." he says cupping my cheek and making me look at him as I try to look away. "I'm just teasing you. Sure we can hang out." He laughs slightly but I just lift myself on my toes, peck him on the lips and run away to the studio.

Kuroo let's out a laughing sigh and goes back home.

Kuroo's POV :

-2 days later-

I walk up to the dance room 204. I just finished work and maybe I could hang out with my boyfriend. His practice doesn't end for another 5minutes and I figure I could just watch him for the last couple minutes of his practice. I creek open the door as to not startle him when I freeze-

There... there are children.

I spot my boyfriend next to this one kid. Kenma was showing him a step. He was so gentle with the young boy.

"Now, you are beautiful when you dance right? You want people to see you. Shoulders back, chin up." He helped the boy gain confidence. "And remember, have fun with it okay." The boy nodded.

"Okay guys from the top!" Kenma said walking over to the music player. The kids danced to the music and you can see his proud look as he watched them.

"That's was so good guys!" He turned around to look at the clock. "Alright class is over! Have a good weekend guys! And don't forget to practice okay!"

"Bye!" They all day in unison.

They start to head towards the door when they stop as they see a tall older boy. Me.

"Umm teacher ken, there's a man here." One of them says and Kenma stops what he's doing and comes to see.

"Who?" His eyes go wide when he sees me. "Oh hi. Okay go on guys I'll be right down." They go down the stairs.

"Hi." I say rubbing the back of my head.

"I told you to wait for me downstairs!" He speaks quietly yet angrily as he smacks my shoulder.

"Ow! I just wanted to see you practice. I didn't know you taught a class."

"Yeah well I don't tell you everything!" He whisper yells then sticks his tongue out at me. When he turns around to go down the stairs I repeat the gesture. I follow him down and see him talking to a parent, I can't help but listen in on what they're saying.

"Rei just loves you class. What's your name?" The mother asks.

"Kenma. And Rei is really good. She's well behaved and fun to have around." Kenma replies.

"Well, that's wonderful. Also when do I drop her off for the competition?" The mother says looking down at her child. "The schedule is on the front desk but it's préférer they be here at 11." He answers. The mother nods.

The young girl smiles and tugs on Kenma's shirt.

"Yes Rei..." Kenma crouches down to the young girls level. She does something with her hands which makes him smile.

"Yes Rei, the competition is in 10 days, you excited?"" He says back to her. She nods. She does another thing with her hands then extends her arms, indirectly asking for a hug, Kenma chuckles and hugs the child.

My heart melts at the sight.

When all the parents and children leave, Kenma walks back to me trying to hide his smile.

"That was the cutest thing I've ever seen!" I say as I cover my face with my hands.

"Yeah yeah whatever." He looks down and smiles harder.

"Want to go out?" I ask.

"Sorry not tonight, thank you for coming to see me though." He says giving me a kiss on the cheek.

"Aw okay, I'll see you tomorrow then." I kiss him back and leave the studio a bit disappointed.

...

Kenma's POV :

I feel a little bad about not going out with Kuroo but... I can't burden him with this.
