Overwhelmed

Olivia's POV

"Let's go to the hospital" I whisper to Maddie. She said nothing and went into Elliots arms he carries her out to the ambulance.

My poor baby is so hurt and I can't even protect her Im such a horrible mother.

"Don't blame your self" Elliot said to me sweetly and hugged me a little.

"It's so hard to process all of this just happened and I don't even know if she's ok!" I cry and pull away roughly going to see Maddie.

"Hey honey you ok?" I get in a bus by her and wait for a reply.

"No" she whispers her throat sounded dry.

"We'll talk soon." I kiss her forehead and watch the EMTs.

(((At hospital))))

I wait in the waiting room anxious to here about what's gonna happen.

"Family of Madison Benson" a male doctor said loudly.

I get up and wait a few seconds before asking El to come with me.

"We need your permission to do a rape kit. Madison won't let us preform one." he says while getting out papers from a clipboard.

"I'll talk to her" I get up going to her room.

"Hey munchkin"
I smile sadly and sit down by her.

"Whatever you are gonna say won't change my choice. I AM NOT GETTING A RAPE KIT BECAUSE I WASNT RAPED!" Her voice escalated and she looked at me with such anger and hate in her eyes.

"Please honey please we want the bastard that did this to you in jail." I say calmly but you could tell by my eyes this was breaking me.

Big strong detective Benson being broken. Yes it was happening.

"fine" she whispered so quite I could barely hear.

"I'll be with you the whole time." I get next to her and hug her.

She grabs my arms and hugs me back
Crying so hard.

"I WANT TO DIE JUST KILL ME ALREADY" she tried to grab my gun from my holster.

"No honey" I take gun out and throw it and resume my hug with Maddie or whatever is left of the girl I used to know.

After a short time of hugging a female doctor came in with all the materials needed for a rape kit.

"My name is Dr. ...."

"Shut up I don't need the details just fricking give me the kit and the pills already!" Maddie spat angrily.

The doctor nodded and preformed a long rape kit on Maddie. I never let her go.

And from now on I never will
