Two worlds, one family

A fire comes closer to a little village, as a cut from outside world couple gets on the plane

"Get in, Jamey!" A blue hedgehog girl yelled, handing to pink hedgehog boy a blanket "This plane is what we need. We'll get to safe spot in no time!"

"O-okay. Let's go" Jamey nodded, as they both got inside, starting to take off

But just as they got up, a branch of the three came off, falling on the back side of the ship, causing the girl to partly fall out

"S-Sonica!?" Jamey gasped, before running to help the girl back in

In only couple of minutes, they were up in the sky, sighing out, calming down finally

"O-oh gosh..." Sonica let out a laugh, looking down

"You did give me quite a fright back there!" Jamey sighed, as he sat down next to the blue girl, nuzzling closer to her

"Ouch. Wow, Jamey. I thought you'd think better of me, after knowing me nearly whole our lives and then marrying me!" Sonica chuckled

"Y-yes. I know... I was still worried" Jamey shook his head, before looking at the bundle in his arms "I'm sure this little one was worried about you as well"

Sonica looked down, her face changing to a more caring smile, as her green eyes fell on a small, newborn baby hedgehog with black fur and red eyes

"You're right... Mommy's sorry, little bud" And then she took the baby in her arms, cradling him carefully

"Hey... Sonica, look..." Jamey said, looking up

"Huh?"

The two saw an island in front of them, but it wasn't like any other island on Earth. It was floating in the sky

"Now that's new..."

The island was populated by a echidna tribe, with leadership also taking a role of guardian of the Master Emerald, that also keeps the island on it's position in the sky

"Oh! Look at him, Locke!" A female echidna with purple eyes said, chuckling as she watched a little boy climbing on the Emerald "Just like his father"

A paradise untouched by man
Within this world, blessed with love
A simple life, they live in peace

"Yes, he indeed is, Lara" Locke said back, as he walked up to the Emerald, taking the child in his arms "Okay, that's enough for now, little man. Let's go back to Mama"

And then he carried the toddler towards Lara, giving him to her, as the little cub nuzzled to his mother

"Yes, Papa"

Back on the other side of the island, the hedgehog family safely landed, looking around

"Woah..." Jamey gasped, before he sighed, taking Sonica by hand "Let's find where to stay for the night?"

The small family walks up the cliffs, carefully making every step. The next second, the baby started squealing, making Sonica smile at him, before both parents looked at what their son saw

A big, strong tree, on nearby area. Just perfect for building a tree house for three them to survive

"Now that's what I call a sharp eye!" Soncia smiled, as Jamey ruffled their baby's quills, a proud look on his face
