After closing my eyes to the sound of sirens, I open my eyes again.

Its morning.

I look to the fireplace. The first thing I can think of is the little pup. I rush outside running over Chase.

The little pup wasn't there.

"Of course he's not here..."

"Good morning sleepy head" Chase says as he walks to me "You know I don't really like being woken up by someone running over me?..."

I turn to him.

"Oh... sorry" I reply

"What are you doing?" He asks

"Looking for the little pup"

He looks around

"What little pup?"

I look to him

"The one from the fire..."

Chase looks at me and then walks back inside.

I follow him and see him just sitting there by the table.

"Hey Chase..."

"Yeah?"

"Why were you crying last night?" I ask

He looks at me and then looks at the wall.

"I haven't actually haven't been here since I was a pup."

His eyes started to tear.

He walked to the kitchen of the cabin and pulled out a little box.

He opened it and unfolded the paper inside. He looked at it and then handed it to me.

I looked at it.

"The Fire!" I said.

"Mother and five pups found dead in burned down cabin." The paper said.

"I was the only one that survived..." Chase said.

I think to myself for a second

"It wasn't a dream... It was a vision!" I said

Chase turned and looked at me

"What?" He said tilting his head with tears still in his eyes.

"I had this sort of dream... but it wasn't a dream" I replied.

Chase just looked at me making this funny cute expression.

As I stair into this eyes I felt sort of sad but happy at the same time.

"I was standing over there by the doorway... and saw a pup hiding under the table." I told him.

"I tried to help him but he couldn't see or hear me. Another older pup dove and tried to shield the pup, I think it was the mom... but the table collapsed on them and they burned" I continued to tell him.

"But I also heard screaming from another room... but I couldn't get through because the door was blocked." I looked to the window. "And there was a small pup standing outside and I think waiting for the rest of them to come out..."

Chase looked down, then to the door, and then at me

"Rocky..." He said crying "Can you do me a favor and not tell any of the other pups?"

I looked into his eyes and started to blush

"Ok Chase..." I smiled "I won't tell anyone"

He smiled and wiped his eye. Then walked around the table and hugged me

"Do you want to go back to the lookout?" Chase asked me

I was still kind of tired and still wanted to be with just chase for a little while longer...

"Can we lay back down for a little bit?"

Chase smiled and rolled his eyes

"Sure..."

we walked to the main room and and laid down, but right as soon as chase closed his eyes I crawled towards him and snuggled up close to him.

I heard him laugh and say

"Ok... Whatever..."

I closed my eyes and drifted off
