Disappointment

I wake up to chase nudging me.

"Rocky..." Chase whispers "Rocky... We have to go..."

I open my eyes and look to him

"What?" I say

"Ryder needs us..." He replies

I stand up fast causing me to trip over my own paws.

"Woahhh!" I yell as I fall to the ground.

Chase laughs.

"Oh sorry, did I accidentally wake up the Marshall in you?" He says in a teasing but playful way.

I look up at him and awkwardly laugh.

I stand back up and walk towards the door.

"Ok, ready to go?" Chase asks

"Yeah.."

We run to the lookout making it there in about 5 minutes.

We run into the elevator and try to catch our breath.

Chase looks at me and starts laughing.

I look at him and then I begin to laugh.

We make it to the top and all the other pups look at us.

"Where where you guys?" Ryder asks

Chase looks to the ground

"I- uh- we where- w- we-..."

Ryder cuts him off

"Chase I expect more from you" he says "Just... get in line. You too Rocky..."

We walk to the line

"Uhh... Paw patrol ready for action Ryder sir!" Chase says

Ryder turns to him

"No need for that now Chase..." he says "Since you weren't here Skye did it."

"Ah... Ok sir..." Chase says in a down tone.

I look to him

I put my paw on his.

He looks at me and gives a small smile.

After Ryder had finished choosing pups he left with them

"S-sorry Chase..." Skye says walking to me and Chase

Chase looks at her and walks away without saying anything

He walks into the elevator and turns to look at us.

He give a fake smile as the doors close and he goes down

Skye turns to me

"Where were you guys last night?" She asks

I look to her

"We were hanging out..." I say stuttering

She rolls her eyes and says

"Fine... don't tell me" with a upset voice "I'll just go ask Chase..."

She turns to go to the elevator

"NO!" I yell.

She turns back to look at me

"If your not gonna tell me then he will..."

I think for a second...

"We were at his cab-"

*beep* *beep*

I get cut off by my pup-tag

"Rocky can you come talk to me?... alone..." the voice says from my tag

I look at Skye

"It's fine..." Skye says "I'll see you later..."

"I'll be right there chase" I reply from my tag to his

I walk to the elevator and go down stairs.

"We were at his cabin" I mock to myself quietly. "How stupid am I?"

I make my way to the pup-houses.

I walk past Rubble as I'm walking to Chase's pup-house.

"Are you ok Rocky?" Rubble asks

"I'm fine..." I reply

"Ok... if you say so..." he says back " I'll be here if you need me..." 

"Yeah, Ok... Thanks Rubble..."
