Zoe's POV

The door bell rings.

Today I had a free day but Shai texted me this morning that she will come over after her and Theo's shoot.

"Hey guuurl" I say and hug her.

"Hey..." she says, she sounds very sad.

We sit down in the kitchen. "Do you want a coffee?"

"Yes, thanks"

"With butter?"I also ask her.

"Yeah, 'course." She says.

I go and make coffe and sit down across her. 

"So. And now tell me what's wrong" I request her.

"Oh Zoe. I thought it can't get any worse after I told Nahko the truth and he broke up with me. But I was so wrong. It can't get any worse than it is right now..." she says and I see tears in her eyes.

"What happened?" I ask and take her hand.

"Our shoot today, Theo and I had to kiss each other" she finally burst out into tears. "And it was a wonderful kiss and after the shoot he wanted to kiss me again and he told me that Ruth broke up with him too and he said that he would love me and th..." Now she cries too hard to speak.

"Oh Shai.." I say and go around the table to hug her. "Shai, it's okay, just cry."

After some minutes she calms down and I sit down on my chair again but still holding her hand. I give her a tissue and she drys her tears.

"So what did you say to him?" I ask her. 

"I said that it's a mistake and that I still have feelings for Nahko. And that's the truth, I just told him the truth," she says with a sob. "And I said that I know that Allegiant is our job but that I need distance and time in my privacy."

"You acted totally right, Shai" I say.

"Are you sure about that?" She asks and I see new tears in her eyes.

"Ya, I'm very sure," I answer and give her a new tissue.

"Well, and then he said that he can understand that and that he gives me all the time I need and also that he'll love me nonetheless and that he will wait for me."

"Theo said that???" I ask surprised.

"Yes.."

"Omg Shai, he really loves you." I say and smile at her.

"I suspected that." She says with a smile.
I smile back at her.

I pity her, I can just guess in what emotional chaos she is. She can't forget Nahko but I know that she feels a lot for Theo, too.

"Come on, let us do something else than speaking about stupid boys and stupid feelings while crying and being indecisived." I say with a grin. 

"One offer: ice cream and action movies."

"Sounds perfect" She says and smiles.

I take two spoons and the ice cream from the freezer.

While we are going in the living room she says "Thanks for being there for me."

"You know, I am there for you anytime and you will never get rid of me." I say. I smile at her and give her a spoon.

She takes it and smiles back.
