Jennie took a deep breath while standing infront of the shop. Memories of this past three months were blurring her vision.....
Time really flies!
The same fresh and sweet fragrance greeted Jennie as she opened the door, like it happened for the first time when she came across the shop. This fragrance always reminds her of Lisa's bright smile and sparkling eyes. That girl is truly beautiful.
Just as she entered the shop, her eyes went to scan the counter, and she wasn’t disappointed. There was her flower fairy....in her usual spot, working among the fresh plants.
But as soon as Lisa spotted her, her smile vanished and uncertainty filled her eyes. It's been one week since they've talked....and Lisa was now almost giving up on her hopes that Jennie will ever talk to her again. But Jennie was determined now, maybe for the first time in her life she's determined to do what her heart wants.
- ' Lisa...?'
Lisa was startled by Jennie's voice as she was deep in thought about why the older is here...but she composed herself real quick and managed to reply
- ' Uh...yeah..?'
- ' Didn’t expect me here right? '
Jennie said, taking small steps towards the counter, and the younger looked out of words
- ' Nn..not like that...I...um...you-'
- ' It's natural....I understand. After what I did, you have every right to be upset... and can send me off right now. But... will you be able to bear with me for a few minutes please? I have something to tell you....something I should've told you a week ago. '
Lisa gulped down, her eyes casted to the floor
- ' Dd...don't say like that. I...you...can... tell me...whatever..you want to. No need....to...ask me..'
Jennie sighed and a hint of melancholy crossed her face. What have she done to the always beaming and super confident girl in one week! Slowly, Jennie took both of the florist's hands and made her sat on the chair nearby. Then she sat down on her knees infront of her, her eyes never leaving the beautiful face of the younger.
- ' You must be wondering why I'm here...why now...why not earlier..right? '
Lisa didn’t answer. She just kept looking at Jennie with a thousand questions in her eyes.
- ' I came here to tell truths only...so I'll not lie about it. Honestly.... I..lose the courage to accept my heart. I freaked out to face my feelings...and maybe... I couldn’t have made it today if Jungkook and oppas didn’t push me to. '
- ' Then go back Jennie. I don’t want you to take decisions over someone's influence or pressure. This is your life and you should-'
- ' But listen to me first! '
Lisa stopped as Jennie interrupted, but a frown took place on her face.
- ' They just encouraged me okay? They didn’t tell me to come here...they just wanted me to find the answer to the question I've been asked a week ago. '
The frown went away from the younger's face as she looked down at her lap, cheeks slightly red now. Jennie noticed the change and a small smile played on her lips
- ' I came here by my own choice Lisa... like I did for the first time. Remember when I came to your shop for the first time? '
Lisa didn’t looked up, but Jennie could see a part of her smile.
- ' Well...since then....you were always gifting flowers to me every now and then and telling me their impressive meanings. I'm not a pro in this matter but you are indeed. So...miss florist... decipher them for yourself. '
Lisa looked up with confusion and now she noticed Jennie has a paper bag with her, and the older slowly put down the bag on Lisa's lap.
- ' Open it. '
Jennie said with a smile, a genuine, happy smile and a bit hesitantly Lisa opened the bag, revealing a bright and big flower bouquet. But she was astonished at once.
- ' These flowers...they...'
- ' Correct you are. These are the exact flowers you've gifted me till now! '
Lisa blinked a few times to understand what is exactly going on, and Jennie replied
- ' I made a bouquet consisting every type of flowers you've gifted. To let you know that whatever you wanted to convey through the petals and the fragrance... is mutual. I want to convey the same things and emotions in the same way you did for me. But this is not the answer of your previous question. For that...I have something more. '
Jennie took the bag from Lisa's lap and pulled out another flower from it. It was a big, bright red chrysanthemum.Jennie looked up at the florist, who was watching the flower with widely opened eyes and a shocked expression. A playful smile placed on Jennie's lips
- ' Do you know what this flower means?'
Lisa gulped down and looked total flustered.
- ' Th...this..is...a..red chrysanthemum. It...represents...'
- ' Yeah? It represents what? '
- ' It....represents...ll..love..'
- ' And it's a great way to tell " I love you " to someone...isn’t it Miss Manoban? '
Lisa buried her face in the bouquet to hide her smile and Jennie couldn’t hold back her smile. It's really rare sight to see the younger this much flustered.
- ' Lili....won't you take it? This is your answer..this is all I wanna tell you..this is-'
She was interrupted as Lisa jumped down on her, causing her to land on her back, hitting the floor. Before Jennie could react, she was enveloped in a tight hug by the florist. It took her a moment before she hugged the girl back, hands going around her waist. Lisa buried her face on the crook of Jennie's neck while her arms were holding the wedding planner closer.
A few moments passed by and none said anything, just indulging in the sensational warmth of each-other.... something Jennie has missed for quite a long time and something Lisa was feeling for the first time in her life.
Finally, after some minutes, Lisa composed herself again and pulled back slightly, creating enough space to see each-other. Jennie was smiling warmly, the warmest one Lisa has ever seen. She smiled back and joined their foreheads together. Jennie closed her eyes and inhaled the very familiar sweet fragrance of her favourite girl and her smile just got wider.
- ' Thank you. '
Jennie opened her eyes as the florist spoke and immediately her playful smile was back
- ' I don’t think people say "thank you" when they’re being told "I love you ". That's sort of disappointing you know... '
Lisa shook her head with a huge grin
- ' I said that for answering my question Kim! I know what to say for what. '
- ' Then exactly what should you say right now? '
- ' I love you. '
Lisa didn’t take a second to answer back, and Jennie couldn’t resist her smile. She loves nothing more than a confident Lisa.
- ' You sure you can handle this grumpy, serious, workaholic lady? '
- ' If you can handle my nonsense talks and extra bright personality, then why not!? '
Both of them smiled while looking into each-other's eyes. Something was shining brightly in their eyes... something very precious and homely... something that was telling they're safe with each-other. Nothing can change that....The End
