- ' So you guys just kept staring at each others and things became this much bad? You want me to believe that oppa?'
Jennie raised one of her eyebrows and gave "I'm not buying this" look to Taehyung, who frowned and sat down on his bed.
- ' But that's what happened that night! We were talking...and...I don't know what happened...but...I...I just couldn’t look away from his eyes..and...he...he didn't try to hold back either. Then suddenly you guys came and...things became awkward. '
- ' And since then he's avoiding you. '
Taehyung looked down
- ' I...didn’t...try to reach him since then either. '
Jennie sighed in disgust
- ' Now why on earth you did that!? '
- ' Because..I...I just don’t know what to tell! What should I say to him? '
Jennie slowly came and sat besides her brother.
- ' Tell me one thing clearly and honestly, okay? '
Taehyung just nodded silently.
- ' Do you like him? Do you like him as more than a friend? '
Taehyung didn’t answer and fidget with his fingers. Jennie waited for a moment,  then patted his back
- ' Oppa...just...relax and say what you feel. It's just me. You've always told me everything, right? We promised there will be no secrets. '
The fashion designer sighed and laid down his head on Jennie's shoulder
- ' I don’t know sis. For last few days... I don’t know what is going on with me. Everything is changed. I'm changed. '
- ' And what caused that change? '
- ' That smile...those eyes...that voice... and...maybe everything about that boy is driving me crazy. I know this is not right....after-all..he's nothing but a stranger. How can I like him! But.. I don't know what he did to me. '
- ' So you do like him? '
- ' Seems like that. '
-  ' So why you stopped talking!? That's not going to help and you know that. '
- ' But things are so much awkward now. I can't just tell him anything. '
- ' And maybe he's thinking the same...  so he couldn’t reach for you. '
Taehyung shut closed his eyes
- ' I...just don't know anything. '
- ' Then give it a try. If he talks back... then everything will be okay. Someone has to make the first move...and since you're the one who's crushing over him, I'll recommend it should be you. '
- ' I don’t even know if he likes me or not.'
- ' You can ask him later. For now, fix your friendship. '
- ' Jen how am I? Like...do I match with him? '
- ' All I know about you is that you're my bestfriend since I'm born and you'll be that till my last day. '
A small smile creeped on Taehyung's lips. Jennie smiled and continued
- ' And for your second question...  I can say that someone who's close to me said that you two look cute together! '
A slight blush pink shade spread across his face...but he suddenly looked at Jennie mischievously
- ' And who is that "close someone " you're talking about? '
This time, Jennie got flustered
- ' A...friend..of mine. '
- ' A friend? Who is this "friend" may I ask...who even knows us! '
Taehyung smiled knowingly and elbowed her
- ' Maybe...the name starts with a L? And what comes after that? Lemme guess, A? And then...maybe, L? I is the next I suppose? S comes after that perhaps? Does the name ends with A? Is that so, Miss Kim? '
Jennie smilingly pushed away her brother
- ' You don’t need to know that! It's your love-life we're talking about. '
- ' And who said I can't change the direction of our conversation? The point remains the same...love-life! '
Jennie looked taken aback
- ' No...What! I..no...we are friends! '
- ' Friends right? '
Taehyung got up and dragged her towards the mirror in his room
- ' People blush like this when they're talking about their friends?Of course Jen...you're only friends! '
Jennie looked blankly at herself in the mirror and then back at her brother. She was not ready for this situation.
- ' But...no...I...don't.. I...I like boys..'
Taehyung let out a small laughter and turned her towards him, holding her by shoulders.
- ' You can like anyone okay? It doesn’t matter what their gender is. Heart is everything. And...who said you can't like a girl if you liked a guy before? It's alright Jennie...don't think about that. Just think about your heart sis. '
Jennie felt numb...as if her brain's not working. Seeing her condition, Taehyung  pulled her in a hug, patting her head softly. She buried her face on his chest and held him tighter.
- ' Oppa...I...what...I'm confused. What should I do? '
- ' I'm also confused Jen. I don’t know what will I tell Jungkook...or how will he react. But all I know is that...I'll follow my heart like you said. Remember, you came hear to cheer me up! Now you can't be down like this buddy. You're our strong girl, aren't you? Oppas are always and forever proud of you and we love you no matter what. For once, give your brain a break and let your heart take the lead. Trust life for once Jen...live life for once. At least, even if things went wrong, you'll not regret that you didn’t listen to your heart. Go for it...whatever it maybe. And yup...I promise I will talk to him. Okay? '
Jennie looked up with teary eyes
- ' You guys are the best family ever... don't leave me ever. '
Taehyung smiled and nudged her nose
- ' How can we leave our baby sisi in the middle of her love story! '
- ' Oppa! I hate you! '
- ' Yeah...love you too girl! '
