The next day I was saying good bye to Slash. We were standing in front of the tour bus. Just whispering. I knew how it would go. He'd leave and find another me in every state. That's the life of a Rockstar. Never even have to lift a finger for some ass and I never gave any. Im not even a notch in his belt- "babe?" His voice cleared my mind. I looked at him. "You'll call right?" I asked. "Ill try my hardest." He said. "Yeah...I bet." I muttered. "Hey." He lifted my head up by my chin. He looked deep in my eyes. "I will. I promise." He stuck a leather gloved pinky out. I wrapped mine around his. He smiled widely. "Don't fret baby doll." He said. He kissed her softly. For the first real time in their entire three day relationship. It was a soft kiss but it was perfect, like two souls finally finding each other. The two practically mended into one. The rest of the world seemed to disappear. Like it was just the two of them. They are the only people who can make the other happy. Even the cold fall air seemed to not be a bother.

He pulled away and kissed my forehead. "Goodbye." He said, the guitarist winked and like that he was gone. I was alone and back at the shop, the radio playing Poison. I was sat on a bar stool behind the counter, reading a comic book and gently tapping my foot. The phone rang. I picked up. "Ryans Records, y/n speaking." "Hey baby doll." Slash said. "I was hoping I got the number right." He said before laughing. I could hear the faint sounds of a party. "Well good job. But its not my house number. Hows the tour?" I asked. "Yeah I couldn't remember it-hey Im gonna have to call you bac-" And the dial tone. I set the phone down. "Why even try?" I muttered. I turned back to the comic.

After a while I had found someone else. He tall and blonde and stupid. He wasn't bad but he wasn't what I wanted. What I yearned for. I knew I had to get over him because I just did. I know he's not loyal but I don't own him either. The blonde and I were sitting on a hill. I just feel so empty without Slash. The blonde rubbed my back. "I think I'm gonna go. And I don't think we'll be seeing each other again." The blonde headed down the hill. I curled my knees up to my chest and sighed. I just wished he'd return. Smile at me with that big grin. Just-I sighed softly and got up. I headed home and the phone rang. I sat up and answered it. "Hello?" I asked. "Hey baby doll." He sounded fucked up. "I can't keep doing this-" I said, turning down my record. "Doing what?" He asked. "This. Why try? Theres no- I know you're out there a different woman every night and just-I adore you but I just cant anymore." I said, sitting back on my bed. Slash just kept quiet. "Yeah. Youre right." He said. "Yeah..." I said. "Goodbye Y/n." Slash said. "Bye Slash." I said, my voice breaking. And then the dial tone. I set the phone back in the cradle and sighed softly.

Months had passed, I moved on. Of course I did, my heart got yanked anytime I saw them on MTV or heard their music. I know it was just a kiss but I adored him so much. I was currently packing clothes. I had decided it's time. I can play the bass and I'm hot so I'm going where I belong to the Strip. I drudged out into the January snow. It was piled up and falling into my hair. I pulled my luggage into the trunk of the cab and hugged my family and said goodbye. I got in the taxi and he took off. He pulled up to the corner that the whiskey was on and I got out. There was like no snow. I pulled my luggage out the trunk and paid him. There was like no snow. I looked around the street and found an ugly inn. I headed in and dropped some money on the counter and the fat greasy man gave me a key. "Thank you." I said and headed to my room. Im pretty sure I heard the screams of murder and orgasm. I shook my head and crinkled my nose as a cockroach scrambled under the bed. I took off my winter clothes cause it was just hot. Time to go get a job. I undressed and put on a short black leather skirt with fishnets. I put on a simple black bra and a leather jacket. I pulled on a pair of knee high black boots and grabbed my bag and tucked a switchblade in my boot.

I walked out the rainbow grumbling. "I can fucking waitress douchebag." I hugged my purse close and walked past a group of whistling leather clad men. "Are you David Lee Roth?" I asked one with a pretty grin as I kept walking. I headed into the whiskey a go go. I looked at the band playing. "Speak of the devil." I purred. "Its a three drink pay to watch!" The bar tender yelled. "Im here for a job!" I yelled back. "Let me get the manager! Stay here sweetheart!" He ran off. I held my bag and looked around, bobbing my head to Van Halen. The manager showed up and took me to the back.

After a while I had an apron thrown me and I was shoved out there. A tray in my hand and multiple drinks on it. And thats where I met him. The Nikki Sixx. "Hello mr. Sixx." I purred, offering him a bottle of jacks. "Hello random waitress." The dark haired bassist replied.
