Haeyoon paces around the dance room, her steps resonating throughout the room. Her messy bun looked even messier after she had a mental breakdown over the upcoming duet that she had with Jaemin less than a week from now. Her index finger pressed on the sides of her head, her eyes blinking with every word that she spouts out of anxiousness, "No but Jaemin what if I accidentally trip? Or even worse, maybe trip you over? You know? It could happen? I mean, why not? Of course I don't hope for it to happen. That'll be very embarrassing."

Contrastingly, Jaemin sat in front of the mirror, stretching his wind-down routine, following the distressed girl from the mirror. Jaemin had learnt from the other guys and especially Yebin that when Haeyoon became like this, it was better to let her ramble on, to let her feelings out. Jaemin did say some encouraging words but the whispers in her head were just a tiny bit louder than his calming tone. Jaemin stretched his back, crossing his legs and spreading his palms apart just behind his hips and looked at Haeyoon who had finally stopped pacing around the room after about ten minutes, "Haeyoon."

"Huh?"

Jaemin taps the floor beside him rhythmically, his pinky first to create a wave like motion up until his index finger, "Sit down with me. You need to have a wind down."

"Jaemin." Haeyoon walks up to him, her hands on her hips, "Are you not worried at all?"

Shrugging his shoulders and tilting his head to the side, "No? Why should I be? We practiced so much, Hae."

"Yeah but like what if--"

"What if," Jaemin interrupts her, "everything goes well? Everything is just as we practiced."

"That's just a possibility out of a million other possibilities."

"Like a great man once said: The possibility of all those possibilities being possible is just another possibility that can possibly happen." Jaemin smiles at her frown, looking as if she has lost a fight, "Come here." he asks her again with his soothing voice. Haeyoon compiled this time, plopping down next to him with her legs crossed and her arms falling on the little space between her legs and lower body.

"I'm worried, Jaem." Haeyoon voices out the feeling inside her head, "I'm worried that I'll ruin all our hard work."

Jaemin could sense that the girl was filled with a lot of restless thoughts. Only when he saw the little tear run down her cheek did Jaemin stand and crouch down in front of the currently unstable girl. He was about to hold her chin up, but thought of how uncomfortable she may be, "Look at me."

Of course, Haeyoon refuses to, the hair that covered her face swaying from side to side, "N-No. I look horrible right now."

'Okay, she must be blind.' Jaemin thought inside his head, "Bubs." By the familiar nickname, Haeyoon snaps her head up, her eyes sparkles especially with the light above them. The scene felt familiar, though there have been a lot of changes. Before it was full of tension, now it is full of love. Before Jaemin spat out words of aggressiveness, now he spoke with genuine care. Before Jaemin would look down to the crying girl with a stoic face, now he looked at Haeyoon at eye level with a proud smile.
