When Haeyoon used to walk to school from home, she didn't think much as she was relieved to at least be out of the hellhole for a little while before the dreadful home bell would ring throughout the school. For the walk home from school, she would always complain about how the walk is too short, always wanting to procrastinate her time going home even though sometimes she would be asked questions on where she was. Time seemed to go by even faster when baby bike carried both Jaemin and herself across the familiar roads. Burying her face even more towards Jaemin's leather jacket, Haeyoon could only think about the fear inside her head towards facing her mum and Jungho, the male being the bigger part of her fear.

"We're here." Jaemin says the two words that she absolutely denies in her head.

"Mhm, I know." but she didn't let go of Jaemin's warmth, prolonging the time outside the house for as long as she could.

"Are you going to get off?" It seemed as if Jaemin was talking to a wall as the girl didn't give him any sort of answer or indication that she was listening to his question. After some time, Haeyoon hops down the back of the motorcycle, wordless and detached from the reality, "Hey." Jaemin tries to get her attention, failing as she keeps her head down. Just before Haeyoon could walk away towards the white door, Jaemin latches onto her wrist and spins her around to face him, "Why are you suddenly all quiet?" Inside his head, Jaemin came up with different situations; did he do or say something wrong? Is she mad at him? Why? What for exactly?

"I'm just tired, that's all." Haeyoon's lie was quite convincing if she didn't look at Jaemin's eyes with her own lifeless ones, "You should go home as well. Thank you for the ride home."

Jaemin didn't want to ask her anything more, sending the girl away to her front door and made sure that she locked the door before driving away into his own roof.

"Haeyoon!" Yeeun drops the metal utensils on the pan, running to her daughter that she seems to haven't seen in a few days, "Why have you been coming home so late these days?"

"Hey, mum." Haeyoon tiredly replies, "I'm so sorry. Yesterday I was out with my friend and today was the annual school festival and so yeah, I'm late again. I know I'm way past my curfew. I'm sorry, mum." Haeyoon bows apologetically to her mum, aware that she hasn't been following the rules that have been set to her.

Yeeun knew that Haeyoon wouldn't break such rules just because. The woman lays her palm on top of the teenage girl's tightly closed white knuckles, her touch bringing the blood flow back to once again regain its peachy, red colour, "Aw honey. It's alright, hon. Was the school festival fun?"

Haeyoon smiles at her mother, the two walking back to the kitchen to continue their little talk there, "Yeah it was really fun, mum. Time well spent indeed." Yeeun proudly smiles at her daughter who seems much more livelier just by talking about the earlier events of the day, "Is he home?" She took notice of the shuddering of her voice.
