*Aizawa POV*
It's been 24 hours since the rescue operation. Midnight had to go home, but she's been spamming us with texts, asking if we're okay or if the boys awake. I just said that we're fine, but said that the boy hasn't woken up yet.
Right now me, my husband, and Hawks are at the hospital watching over the sleeping boy through a window. The doctors are wrapping his injuries up right now, well changing the previous bandages and replacing them with knew ones. He is hooked up to a heart monitor as well, to watch his pulse. Also, hooked up to an IV transporting fluids into his body. Me, Hizashi, Hawks and Midnight are the only ones aloud to see him, along with nurses and doctors checking his condition.
Nobody has a quirk that could heal his bruises, many people had quirks that could help with surgeries, producing tools to help. Nothing to help these kind of injuries. It was infuriating to say the least.
*Hizashi POV*
I was beyond worried for the kid. I was angry that the Villains would do this or even escalate to this. They were even attacking the school I work at.
"Do you think he'll be okay?" Hawks asked. I honestly don't know, but I could never say that outloud. I just stared at him through the window.
"He'll be okay. He just needs tons of rest." A voice suddenly came out of nowhere. It was a high pitched so it had to he a women. Probably middle aged.
"What's his condition? I'm assuming you are done with the testing." Aizawa asked. Hawks perked up at this, also curious I looked her way.
"Well, his body as suffered severe trauma. No broken bones though, which is surprising. Theres a high chance that he would be needing physical therapy. He's not waking up because his body is extremely tired, probably being far over his limit. Speaking of limits/drawbacks, his quirk explains to be electrification. It looks like his wattage limit is about 1 million volts." She explained in a serious tone.
Then behind her was the detective Aizawa was speaking to. Hawks left by now, wanting to return back home and live his life since the mission was completed. Me and Aizawa stayed, though he left the room to call our children and tell them that we aren't going to be home tonight.
"Hello, I am detective Tsukauchi, I am the detective working out this case on none other than that little boy." He introduced himself. He seemed well-meaning and his voice was calm, and soothing, similar to a mothers.
"Hi, I am Pro Hero Present Mic. Pleasure to meet you." I greeted him, in my normal tone of voice. "Do you have any information on him yet?" I asked.
"Actually I do. Um...Well he was taken from the hospital when he was still a baby. His mother passed giving birth, and we are unable to locate a father or next of kin. Right before she died she had enough time to name him Denki. His mother decided to give him her own last name of Kaminari." He explained.
"So just to clarify, he has no family? Once he gets out of here he's just gonna get thrown into the Foster Care System?" I questioned. I didn't want that for him, because many people who thrown into the system at 5 and up dont usually get adopted, or they take the wrong path due to how crappy it is.
"I am hoping that won't happen, but we cant find any next of kin, and I dont know anybody that can take him." He said. It sounded like he really wanted to help. I did too but I couldn't think of anything
"We could always adopt. We have an extra room. Its right next to Mirios room, and Shinsou has been complaining about being the youngest and wants a younger sibling." Aizawa suggested. I absolutely loved the idea. Midnight I already know would be beyond happy. She always loved children, but shes never been able to take care of them, so that's why she opted to just be the cool Aunt that comes over all the time.
"I love that idea. Midnight would be beyond happy with us." I said. I turned to the detective and he nodded, giving us time alone. He probably has some of his own work outside of the case too. Aizawa walked in the room of the boy, and I followed behind him.
*Aizawa POV*
Blood was showing through some of the bandages and he looked uncomfortable. I felt protective over him. If anything came to harm him I would keep him safe. I felt the same with my first son Mirio, Hizashi 2.0. Having them in the family is stressful but I love them nonetheless. Same thing Hitoshi, when he was young, but now they are all grown up. I'm proud of them but I miss when they were kids, and this boy. He was the perfect one, I felt the need to help him recover. To help him lead a better life, a less traumatized life.
I felt Hizashis eyes looking me over. I turned to him, he was staring at me with knowing eyes, he was trying to figure out what I was thinking. I just answered by giving him a blank face, not wanting to give into him. He walked over placing his hand on my shoulder squeezing it in reassurance.

We fell asleep in the hospital chairs. They gave us two one for each of us. I woke up, to the doctors chattering and spreading rumors outside the room. Hizashi was still asleep, you know it's ironic and funny how the always tired one is the light sleeper. Then the one who has so much energy is the heavy sleeper, who you literally have to drop weights on to wake him up. I talk about this out of experience.
The doctors probably changed the bandages on the little boy quietly, and then left. I was grateful for that. I already dont get much sleep as is. Now in this topic, I looked over to the boy who was still sleeping. Damn, did the villains not let him rest? Like torture is painful enough but no chance to get a break, everybody has their weaknesses and drawbacks, you gotta at least accept that.
