Clarys POV

I hummed along to an annoyingly catchy song that I had heard on the radio this morning that i just couldn't seem to get out of my head

"Could you stop, were meant to be in a rock band it is simply disrespectful to hum one direction songs in your spare time" moaned Jon pulling into the school car park

"I'm sorry okay, I hate them as much as you do but sometimes I just can't help it" I told him trying desperately not to burst into song

"You better not let jace hear you or hell whoop that ass of yours" he killed the engine and jumped out the car as did I shortly behind him so he could lock the door

"Yeah yeah, whatever." I stuck my tongue out at him as he walked off and heard a few girls giggle as they passed watching us bicker

I swung my bag over one shoulder just as a blond fell into step with me, not the blond I was expecting to turn up, no they were far too short, and not even the right gender

"Hey clary" Charlotte spoke first knowing I wasn't going to

"Hey Charlotte" I greeted her awkwardly turning slightly to look at her realising we were around the same height although she was much prettier than me with her wavy blond hair and blue eyes

Not to mention her accent, being from Belgium and all.

"Look about the other night jace really wasn't-"

"It's fine char really we sorted it all out" I cut her off knowing that she was a step away from apologising, and for what? For bringing us back together.
No, I should have been thanking her.

She turned to me as we entered the school doors excitement clear on her face

"Really?! That's great! He really is a great guy clary and he cares about you a lot anyone can tell." She beamed brushing the hair out of her face a little

Suddenly I remembered what jace had said about her current friend group, she didn't seem very happy in it and from what I could tell she was into fashion, izzy would love her and she was growing on me immensely

"Ugh Charlotte?" I asked trying to break the conversation lightly as I was about to ask her to ditch her current friends after all... Well not all of them.

"Yeah?"

"Do you maybe want to hang out with us? I mean you don't have to it's just an offer but yknow..." Looking for something to do I brushed my hair back with my hand shaking It a little to add some texture at the back and stared down at my legs and sandy coloured wedges knowing that the conversation would take an awkward turn if she declined

I turned into my locker and she follows behind leaning lightly on the lockers beside mine with an amazed expression on her face

"Hang out with you guys? You guys meaning you Jon, izzy, Alec etc?"

I quickly opened my locker and grabbed some books hugging them to my chest and slamming the door behind me turning to face her now

"Like I said you don't have to if-"

"No no! I'd love to" she stopped me smiling

"Great, well I have to get to class but I'll see you at lunch then?" I asked hopeful and she adjusted the strap on her bag while nodding and smiling

I saw jace in my peripheral vision waiting for me

"See you then" I smiled and headed over to him

He had a genuine smile on his face as I headed over to him and ran a hand through his hair that was getting in his eyes before sliding the same arm around my waist as be began to walk down the corridor together

I chuckled looking up at him and he smiled looking down at me

"What's so funny?" He raised an eyebrow at me with an easy smile on his face

"You need to get your hair cut" I told him and he raised both eyes as if he could actually see it now before looking back down at me

"Don't you like it long?" He smirked looking forward again tightening his grip around my waist

"Yeah, I like it a lot but you can't fucking see" I laughed and he joined me silently

"True" he shook it letting it fall in his eyes and made a frustrated face as we stopped Infront of my class

I gave him a loving smile and I detached myself from his side so I could stand Infront of him to go on my tip toes and try fix it running one hand through it while the other grabbed my books

I messed around with it for a few minutes before giving up when it was brushed back slightly and looked as if that was the best I was going to get

I looked down and caught him peering down my top for a few seconds before looking back up and realising he had been caught

"Perv" I slapped his chest playfully and he laughed at me as I lowered myself back down onto my feet "they were in my face" he giggled, he actually giggled

The bell rang and he wrapped both arms around my waist pulling me close
"Not intentionally" I argued smiling at him

"Don't tell me you wouldn't stare if I was shirtless right now" he smirked and I felt my face heat up

"Not the point" I smirked pressing my face into his chest and secretly inhaling his scent

"I better go before I get eaten" he frowned slightly and I nodded looking up at him and wrapping my arms around his neck as he leaned in for a kiss, of course that wasn't a good idea after what he had just been talking about as it got pretty heated fast with this hand sliding dangerously close to my ass and my hands already tangled in his hair

"Do you think you could maybe refrain from groping my student Mr Herondale so I could actually start my lesson?" My teacher asked from the doorway and we flew apart hearing kids in the class giggle as we were now in an empty hallway outside the doorway

Damn it we really had to stop getting caught by teachers this was extremely embarrassing

"Ugh I gotta go clary" jace laughed glancing at the teacher momentarily before placing a kiss on my head and speed walking off down the corridor

He is probably in a lot of trouble, then again so am I, for some reason I don't think making out while your late to class will be overlooked completely and so I made my way inside with puffy lips and a bright red face towards my seat hearing laughter and wolf whistles on my way there

I was so embarrassed that I didn't actually look up until I got to my desk and that's when I saw the spiteful looking platinum blond in the seat next to mine.

Extremely short guys but I had to put something up, but I will post the next part soon
